Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well they just cancelled the combined ND and SD State championship shooting event. It was not scheduled until June but they pulled the plug. Looks like I got a bunch of entry fee money coming back and a fistful of ammo unspent. Arghh!
Speaking of shooting, took the Grendel out to 500 yards today. At that distance, my mil dot covered up the black Silhouette, course the target is designed to be a 300 yard target, so I was kind of guessing at the center.

Evening, I'm here and still alive.

I'm getting messages from peeps thinking I'm not posting much because I'm sick or dead.

None of the above, just been busy but still have a pulse, and still very mopar.

Kinda weird that the less time I spend on fabo, the more work on my A bodies i get done

Out with the old, in with the new, one of the first upgrades I did to the Valiant, I think it is for a 69 charger, but it bolted right up and gave me dual pot master cylinder 14 years ago, now for the even newer style to go in.

Thinking i should do something with my dart master. I have a good 2 bolt to replace 4 bolt.
But i have a brake booster in trunk, not sure if i want it.

I don't think I would like power brakes on my 66 Lady , I liked the shoes all around but went to 73 up mopar disks brakes, this dual pot has 4 holes and was flawless.

We miss you

I have the duster with disc brakes, its all going under barracuda eventually. Motor first. Running and moving.

Yep, it's amazing what all gets trapped in the exhaust and cylinders that is waiting to be burned off
yeah, that’s what I’m wondering now. Who knows, if it stays smoke free, good, if not, there’s a backup plan in the works. Albeit a bit more expensive one

Son is working on a chevy 350. Keeps saying it looks good, but i find it hard to believe, cam has a few flat lobes. Very little ridge, but bearings are done as well as cam bearings.

My wife did the weekly grocery run this morning. She likes to get in just after the reserved time for Seniors and gets there at 7 am. Well today she finished up the shopping at 7:45 and when she got to the car, she realized that she had dropped her credit card between paying and getting g into the car.

She was freaked and re-traced her steps and asked inside if any one had seen it. Nope.

She called me in a panic and I calmed her down and said to just call Amex and report it missing. They will cancel that one and send a new one.

She thought I was going to be pissed off about it. No, stuff happens and wearing a mask and gloves just makes it harder to manipulated the card. No worries, it’s why we have card protection.

She was in a funk after getting home so I told her to call the store and see if it had been turned it in.

Yep, they found it. It had fallen under the edge of the check-out counter and they discovered it a little while after she left.

It had been cancelled already so she told them to just destroy it and then settled down realizing I wasn’t going to get angry over it.

I think she was mad at herself for it and thought maybe I would be mad to.

Nope, stuff happens...and we deal with it.

Life is hard enough right now trying to maintain vigilance and protocols to stay safe. An accidentally lost credit card doesn’t even make the list of things to be concerned about.

Ouch flat cam lobes or rather the fear of them is why I’m going roller cam on the 440.

966 missed posts....nope. I hope all is well out in coffee land. Miss chatting with everyone

With our cards, and the mobile banking app, i can shut down card the moment i discover its missing. Havent had to use that feature yet. I only spent $20 last week. Havent used any cards since last month i think.

Interesting test.

This test has only one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely and completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Only you will know the results, so remember that your answer needs to be completely honest.

THE SITUATION:
You are in Palm Beach with chaos all around you caused by a hurricane. There is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all its destructive fury.

THE TEST:
Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow this man looks like...WOW --- it's Donald Trump. At the same time you realize the raging waters are about to take him under forever.

YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS:
You can save the life of Donald Trump, OR you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer-Prize-winning photo, documenting the last minute of one of the world's most powerful and evil man.

YOUR DECISION:
OK. Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you: (A) select high contrast color film, or (B) go with the classic simplicity of black and white.

Well Dave, hope you are feeling better, sincerely. I am calling it a day.....Good night...
