Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
Hoping my gears are in. Cant wait. Well, i can. But if they couldnt get them shipped i understand. My parts guy was telling me lots of businesses are running on a skeleton crew. The vendor for the gears has one in office and one that takes orders, packs and ships.

Hope you get them too, had something like that affect my getting a hitch, the distributor used to do deliver daily, manual mode, now ships everything. It added 2 days to me getting the hitch.

Lately i just take each day as it comes, and make do with whatever is on hand. These suppliers are doing what they can, dont need me screaming because my parts dont show up. I keep my parts trips to a minimum as well.

Good morning all!! Coffee is flowing here. More painting for me and maybe some new valve cover gaskets for the demon. Passenger side is leaking bad for some reason.

Interesting test.

This test has only one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely and completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Only you will know the results, so remember that your answer needs to be completely honest.

THE SITUATION:
You are in Palm Beach with chaos all around you caused by a hurricane. There is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all its destructive fury.

THE TEST:
Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow this man looks like...WOW --- it's Donald Trump. At the same time you realize the raging waters are about to take him under forever.

YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS:
You can save the life of Donald Trump, OR you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer-Prize-winning photo, documenting the last minute of one of the world's most powerful and evil man.

YOUR DECISION:
OK. Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you: (A) select high contrast color film, or (B) go with the classic simplicity of black and white.

It's dangerous to try to save a drowning person... Their first instinct is to push down on you when you approach them and then you will drown... They teach you in life saving class to always approach a drowning person from underneath and behind and put your arm around their waist as you come up behind them, gently pull them back a little with their head above water... Otherwise they will drown you when you try to save them...

It may be better to let the one person drown, instead of joining them and being the second...

So in that case, let Trump drown, and use high contrast color to get the best possible shot that you can... Make it as realistic as you can...

My parents used to discipline me with a camera...

I still get flashbacks....

Yesterday was one of the hardest....fought to keep my temper in check. Couldn't wait to get home. pick up the mail and find that an ongoing problem with a credit card from Best Buy has surfaced AGAIN. To save money on a computer repair 3 months ago I put it on a credit card and if paid off in 60 days no interest. Well to keep it short first invoice never showed. second came and showed a $37 late fee call (1 hour) and get it taken care of or so I think. Send the $200... get the third invoice to find no show of the $200 AND a second $37 fee. So call the dispute line (1 hour 45 min) The guy tries blaming the post office. I finally come unglued. He says we will find your $200. Then after hours I get an email of the dispute for the $400 missing. I can't believe it...the dude f_ed me over so I have to get on to fix it AGAIN. And I cannot connect online.

Do you have records of the payments from the checking accounts that you used to pay it off??? That would prove it right there...

Its an option here, but I usually wear one in and out of the store.
Our stay state stay at home ends Sunday.
Then a very slow start up begins. Hopefully it goes well and the timeline gets better.

Our governor extended the stay at home order another month...

I couldn't ask for anything more and I'm gonna write a little message on that form then for the body's telling everybody what a pleasure it was to deal with you and how happy I am with the quality of your work. Be well buddy. Hopefully talk to you right to you soon or whatever. Hope everything works out this year and that's about it. Alright take care yourself bye bye."

"I hope everything works out this year... I'll talk to you again next year...."

I've been waiting on this carburetor for over a week now, for this power washer. Shipper says USPS deliver on 4/27. Did not show. I tracked number. USPS apparently does not have yet. Oh well, My Daddy, used to tell me all the time " Son, haste makes waste " LOL Guess I'll wait....

I sent a package to California last week... It was still in our local distribution center after three days...

I called the post office and asked them about it and they finally got it on it's way... It was scheduled to be delivered on that Friday and they finally got it delivered by the middle of the next week...

Call them to give it a little 'push' to get it through...

morning everyone, weather around here in in the 70s. I will just sit on the deck and drink coffee for now.

We've had a lot of rain here in the past week. I think they said 4" or so. Cool and cloudy also. Thought it was supposed to be sunny today, but no. Grass really needs to be cut. Thought I could do it today, but still pretty wet. No more rain today, so maybe it'll dry out the grass. Sunny and 75 here tomorrow, so I guess that will be the day...

Having a pulse is the only requirement for @Ben Drinkin to hit on a woman..... :p
I think he changed that to 'still warm'
