Add this up to stuff i didnt know yesterday. Its a 2.26, 2.76 will accept the 4.10.
so i bought the gears and bolted the ring gear on. Basically im on my own. F’ers. Supposed to be knowledgeable people. not all is lost, the barracuda has 2.76,so R&P should work in it.
Going to pop cover on a parts truck,see what gear ratio the 9.25 has. May be retrofitting another diff.

Put my shop crane on 3 point and set it in ground behind the 78. A chain on bumper and jacked it up so i could get under and pull cover. 2.71 gears. A little better, but not quite enough.
