I’d call that putting the cart in front of the horse...when you don’t even have a horse yet.
Or a complete cart. I was thinking the same thing, but didn’t know how to word it. My brain is scrambled after today’s colossal failure.

Reminded me when I bought my first car and first thing I did was get keystones for it!
lol i did the same on an 81 pos chevy truck.

but in this case, I needed the rims to mock up and get the measurements for my dana 60 to be cut down. I now have those which means I can send my Dana 60 to the race shop across town to be cut down. 75 bucks to be cut down and welded to my specs on a jig if i bring them the housing bare. figured that's worth it.

Not my first car but.............................. I tries all sorts of wheels on this and Stones were the best.

i forget the name/brand of these. I wanna say weld or american racing but I really liked the look of them on my charger, even if they did need polished. I'd like to find a set again.

I may fall into this catagory. I have not finished paying for the 69 Roadrunner and already have the gauge cluster and tail lights for it.

Not sure what you mean by category but having the parts isn’t a bad thing. I will be honest though, I wasted a lot of time collecting parts, wanted everything at my disposal before digging supper deep into mock up or cutting/welding. In hindsight, I would have bought the T56 first and foremost and set off mocking up right away. But that’s a lesson learned for next time I supposed

I have done that before. I had a 68 coronet grille and wagon taillights before I bought my 68 coronet wagon.

I knew about the car and it was for sale but I didn't make a move on it right away. Gotta love cars for sale privately and unadvertised.

Around here, people know me, so they often come to me and ask if I want to buy cars they have or know about. I'm known as the crazy cat lady who buys old cars. I've turned down many non mopars. I had a guy show me pics of a 71 ranchero the other day. Cool car and good price but no $$$ and I'm trying to pay off a duster. :realcrazy:

Wow... our state is talking about making next school year, 2020/2021 all elearning online. Ugh
