I would guess some pretty good sounding music might have ran through those wires. Nothing wrong with lamp cord imo for speaker wire IF the gauge is good. Sometimes that's pretty good copper and a fine twist, just sayin' I do own some monster cable for RCA cabling, none for speaker wire tho...always just go for heavy gauge.
 
Well, I lazied out of putting the trees in, and digging the holes. Ended up having to work right after I picked them up on Monday. Neighbor dug the holes with his Kubota, two feet deep, 6 feet wide and 8 of them for $100, then landscapers dropped the trees in the holes for $50 a tree, I could hardly move them, two man job at least. I just got back from TSC and bought a drip irrigation system and two timers, will have fun with a punch tool and "emitters" or "droppers" tomorrow.

9:30. Just came in from outside. My dump trailer had an oil leak.
Pump was empty. So i fixed it. Some enginerd decided it needed a sight glass. With plastic fittings nontheless. Two 1/8” pipe plugs and some loctite and all is good..
 
How to know you had a good day working on cars:

The waistband of your undies is black and greasy where you had to use the restroom in a hurry multiple times and didn't wash your hands first and just pulled them back up with greasy hands LOL.

Also you apply lotion to your hands after a shower and realize you have a hundred little cuts and bruises all the way up your arm.
 
I can't believe how effective the " hotwire " thing is in order to bypass wiring problems and crap wires and just get running.

Good thing I didn't need a fire extinguisher, because I didn't have one.

I have a small pump bottle, holds 2 guarts of “universal solvent” aka water.
Pump it up and keep it handy. I use it lots, but rarely for fire. Its there if i need it.

Figured i was out working late yesterday,i would sleep later.
Cruze for a crank seal, then brakes on the impala.
Will probably work saturdays for the summer, take mondays off.
 
I get a haircut today! Yay!
Wife thinks i need one, i dont really care either way.
 
A month ago, had prescriptions refilled. They doubled my cholesterol med. my legs started cramping,i quit taking them,and things just started imoroving. Had a phone appt with doc, says it was changed, doesent know why or who changed it. So for the next couple months i cut them in 1/2.
