90% sure I have a burned valve on no 4 cyl on the 440. Cant get a leak down tester into the plug hole just to tight to the inner fender with the try y headers. Seriously thinking 440 source heads.

Looked at them want made in USA stuff only. and 80cc chamber is attractive also.

Stealth heads are not made in USA... castings are Chinese. Valve springs are also Chinese sourced. Only thing on those heads that are USA made are the valve locks and seats that they get from COMP Cams

The sidewinder heads are cast in China, CNC machined to finish in North Carolina, then assembled with Isky or COMP components per customer choice.

There’s a reason 440 Source is cheaper in parts than most, they are 90 percent Chinese made stuff, their heads, stroker kits, rods, rockers, shafts, valve springs etc are all Chinese and Taiwanese sourced. Have been since they came on the market in 2006/2007.

doesn’t make their stuff junk, because for Chinese stuff, it’s been pretty good. But if USA made is your goal, Edelbrock, Indy, Trickflow, Brodix are pretty much it for 100 percent USA made heads.

Hmm let me shoot them a pm. Friend has them on his Belvederere and really likes them. Look cool also! Be lucky to do a set of heads for that price if one of mine is cracked.

If you don’t have to have aluminum and are putting them on an otherwise stock 440. You might look at Indy Cylinder heads. They were selling factory heads, ported, lightly polished, with larger valves and better springs for 600 a pair.

Marine engine rated 500 in the boat. Basically 10.5 pistons, ported 906 heads a Lunati cam and gear drive.

They are attractive I like they match the springs to the cam, which is large.
To be frank, I’ve been debating selling my Edelbrock heads I got from Tim and having marsh build be a set of his ported and polished.

I’m heading out to the garage soon. A local auto stereo store is having a car show today. A three hour show two miles away. I’m going!! Need to get the car shinning!!
