Stop in for a cup of coffee

You notice the highest post counts usually don't have an active build thread going, but they can tell you how save a bundle on your home and car insurance

Morning. So that storm just squeaked by. Lots of lightning and thunder off in the distance and a little rain.
Back to T-Bird today. Hope i can wrap it up.

I have my cup of coffee and I'm checkin' in! Signing up for Medicare this afternoon and a North Iowa Mopar meeting tonight.

Forgot i had to clean up a brake drum, sold one off the dead fargo diff. Gave it a couple cuts to clean the rust off.

Well, FedEx has my fuel pump back on the delivery schedule. Lol. Says its on a truck and I will get it today. Mae has an appointment Wed afternoon, so I scheduled the day off, but hoping I don’t need to use it. I could drive the Duster to work, but don’t like putting it in the parking lot. Would probably park way out...And now they are calling for storms.

And I forgot I didn't have much of anything to do today....TO HOT!! Last hot day and we have some cooler weather for a few days. Way to early for mid 90's.
I did take the taillight buckets I got in the parts buy and try to freshen them up. The area behind the lens had some pot metal pitting. I hit them lightly with the bead blaster to clean them up. I then took a very light coat of JD weld steel stick and filled the pits in. After it dries I'll hit it with a little primer and then chrome paint. This is just the inside the tail lens area. The chrome edges look great. Most wouldn't mess with them, but they are hard to find, and I don't want to just throw them away.

I had thought of hitting the inside of my lenses with chrome paint. I bet it makes the lights brighter. I think originally they were just painted silver.

I think your right. Why not, no one will know but you.

Under 70 right now bright sun and not a cloud in the sky. Had to put up the umbrella so I can see my phone screen
Mid 90's here today. A cold front comes through tomorrow. My granddaughters 7:45pm softball game temperature 57. I'll take it.

My garden has been doing OK, but seemed like very slow growth. Wasn't sure the green beans would make it. Bugs nearly removed the first leaves before the second ones got going. Now it looks like almost everything has near doubled in size over last couple days.
Even what is left of the hops doesn’t look that good. A couple of them never came up. The ones that are climbing did shoot up a foot or more over the last couple days.

Supposed to be 90 and sticky here. That'll give the a/c a work out.

Road wreckers must be doing something up towards town. GoT a one lane starting just a little past our driveway.

I got notification from Kaiser Permenente this morning. My Covid 19 test yesterday is Negative. So no food today, and have to drink the Anti Freeze tonight. UUUgggggg............
