The fires round here from the lightning strikes Saturday were extinguished so rapidly, the press didn't even mention them.

We had a 7hr lightening show yesterday, was really surprised that nothing lit off around here. Was really eerie, 3am started big winds, temps in the high 80’s on and off rain and lots of lightning! Reminded me of summer vacations at my Grandparents house in Forrest City.

On the satellite photo it looked similar to that stuff we had Saturday. Streaming straight up from the south. We just watched it blow by offshore.
