Just had some ham 'n cheese nachos.... Got a free ham today. Our grocery gives 'free' hams for points, but we used the points on gas since my son was supposed to show up for Christmas and bring the ham (not coming now). We decided we are having surf n turf for Christmas, but I still wanted a spiral cut ham to pick at for sandwiches and stuff. So I'm in the store deciding what ham to get. A woman comes up next to me and looks at the hams for a few seconds and asks if I want her coupon. I'm like 'are you sure you don't want to use it?' She says no, I just don't want to deal with this. Not really sure what she meant, but she handed me the coupon and went on her way. Mae baked it with the brown sugar glaze while I was at work. Mmmm

Time for some shut eye here. Off for 3 days, so probably wake earlier and not up this late next couple nights.
Our oldest and his girlfriend opened presents tonight through Zoom. It worked pretty slick.

Merry Christmas Eve all. The thrash is wrapping up for tonight, it’s nearly 0200 local time but we’re close, every thing is wired up(not by me so we know it’ll work, it’s been tested lol) just getting the wheels/tires on tomorrow, setting the gas tank/hood combo on and plumbing fuel. Decals won’t be in until the 29th at the earliest, so SOL there. But the rest I’m pretty confident can be done tomorrow. Has too

Thanks. I just hope my grandfather’s reaction is worth it. He doesn’t normally get excited about much of anything and finding Christmas presents for him for years has been hard. This year losing my grandmother, we’d been thrashing ideas around and last Thursday morning, it hit me, boom this tractor. Just hope we can pull it off before our wives kill us
Ha! Sounds like a mad rush! Condolences on your grandmother. I know this sounds weird....I got along better with my grandparents than my parents. Not that my parents weren't wonderful, they were......it just turned out like that. I miss them all terribly, but especially miss how my GrandMollye bribed me with her home made sweet tea to do chores around the house. lol

I did too. My grandparents raised me. Being the oldest, when my mom had the Quadruplets, I got sent to live with my grandparents so my parents could focus on the others. 6 months out of every year, I lived with my grandparents. I think that’s really why there’s such a difference between my siblings and me. Totally different upbringing
Nobody really sent me. When I got bicycle age, I rode to my grandparent's house. Probably about 7 or 8 miles away. Then of course by driving age, I was there alot. I always helped my PawPaw plant his garden every year. I kept his cool Sears roto tiller going. That was a lotta fun. It was an old front tine 8HP. I'd beat you to DEATH but it really cut the ground.
I love this time of year. You oughtta be ashamed of yourself.

Regardless, its bitter cold outside. Hope pellet stove stayed lit in shop, its been giving me grief for a couple weeks.
Runs all day, unless i open overhead door. The exhaust temp sensor is out of range, and sees it as cold and shuts stove down.
