That's a lot of motor. Need all the accessories. Not for sure if it's a serp belt or a dual. Lots of tensioners and idlers. Chevy for ya! Looks like a dual

I see he did something very similar to what i did on my buddy’s truck to block heater housing opening. I fitted the 97 hvac into it.
 
Made it to shop, and dragged diff out of snowbank. It was frozen solid to the ground. But i broke it loose. Good strap and 4lo.
 
I changed oil and belts on the Neon yesterday. Then it overheated on the way to work. :wtf: Not boiling or steaming, just guage hit H and started beeping at me.
First thought was I did something wrong with the belts, but the water pump is driven by the timing belt. You can't even see the thing without taking half the car apart... I thought maybe I f'd up the fan wires, but they work when I turn on the AC.
It was a little low on coolant. I added like half gallon of water including the reservoir and that seems to have taken care of it. Surprised that little bit was enough to make it overheat. Guess I should check the antifreeze strength. Not even sure what kind it has in it- think its regular green stuff.
