Morning all you early birds. A blistering 11 F degrees here this morning. In theory it is supposed to be above freezing at some point today. Craig get a bigger tool box than you think you need. Same for storage cabinets. Get double of what you think you need, then you can go back in a year or so and get more! Hah!

The Snap on locking box is a great price on that size box. Lord knows I can attest as I have surely sent my Snap on guys kid thru college by now!

I have two garages and a basement shop with not one storage cabinet. I'll be spending some$$ and all I have to say is we need it for the garage. She'll never know or ask why. :thumbsup:...as long as she gets her double oven...haha!! Fair trade!!
 
Snap on guy shows up and says the “toolbox truck” is coming in a couple weeks. The rep will pay you full retail for your old box and apply it towards a new snap on box.
First, no. My wife bought this for me on my 50th birthday.
Second, a tool box doesent make me any money.
He said it would make me more efficient. i disagreed, stating im further ahead spending that money on tools instead of a box. Better tools make me more efficient.

That was the end of that conversation,and in almost 7 years he has never tried to sell me a box again.
 
I sent the seller an email. I told him I can pick it up next week with cash in hand. Its about 100 miles away, nice drive.
It was listed a few hours ago. I'll let you know what happens.
 
I get some funny requests some times. Hey do you have a used cap clip? Holy crap I have a few coffee cans of them I bring to Carlisle, they usually are gone by the end.

The seller needed extra time to set up an estate sell and move out. With all we want to do before the move in and it looks like we will skip Carlisle this year. I might still come out for a couple days. On the other hand I have another two weeks to get it all lined up and hopefully it all happens as planned.
