Grille back in, amber led in the skull and its good to go until its not. Lots of junk came out of rad. Same with the block. Now all i need is the vacuum advance from Ray and i can get the tuning squared away. Its awesome he had a rebuilt one.

I love the skull! What did you finally decide on the tailights? Last I knew you were debating between styles? You should post a pix of the skull on the same thread where the guy melted down over the radiator not rad comment. He would have a fit if you called the skull a side marker! Hah! I figgered about that amount. If you're going to use washed concrete sand better figure about 3-4% moisture in the sand, will add to the weight.
So aparrently i have to assemble a propane firepit. So back out to garage ...
I was suprised. Bought a grill at Home Depot. Tried to get it cheaper if I put it together myself. Nope, same price. Took the display model home and had it lit in 5 min ! Score.
So a professional welded quoted me 175 dollar fee plus 100 bucks per hour to weld them in. How long should it take to weld two quarters in?
A long tome if you don't want to warp them.
The shop that did my patch panels used a wire feed braze machine. Lower heat and there was still a few spots that warped.
What did you get? I bought a new Dyna grille from Home Depot, 5, 12,500 btu burners and one 15k btu sear burner/grate. Thing gets hot fast. If I turn all them on high, it hits 750 degrees in about 5 minutes. When cooking, I use just two burners on low and alternate which ones I use each time. It also has a smoke box and a side burner but I never have used a side burner when grilling. Stainless burners and I upgraded to the ceramic coated burner covers.
Yeah I’m expecting warpage no matter what.
