Did some quick google searching. I thought maybe that was an old standard size. Does not seem to be the case. They could have been made as pavers. But also found their was a tax on bricks pre 1850. Because it was charged per brick they made bigger bricks... Also- fun fact-McAvoy is in Phoenixville and still in business

Yes , I had contacted them. They asked for a pic and dated them.Last
production run on that design was 1870.
 
So, I just went out to breakfast, and the tire pressure light came on the Benz. Then she told me, she had to put air in the tires yesterday cause the light came on. Pulled over and looked. Left front tire low.Told her we go straight to the tire shop. Get there, I have her turn wheel and pull up slowly. Yup, screw in tire. I show the tire guy. While I sit and drink coffee with the owner, the guys run a floor jack under the car. No jack stand. The car is running, she is in it. Now it's raining heavy. The guys use an electric impact. Pull the wheel while on a floor jack. She stays in the car. I sit and smoke cigar and drink coffee. 10 minutes, he has the tire plugged and back on the car. Total price $3 US. LOL...And wouldn't take my money for the coffee....:rofl:
 
Well I made it to Ark yesterday, a full 1,000 mile day of driving. And yo Tim, for what it is worth dept. Be careful this year with the wildlife. Like you, I drive across the Country several times a year and this trip, there were many, many, more deer than usual. No idea why. Just found it odd. I waved at Craig as I blew thru KC but didn’t detour from mission. In my defense there is not a strip club, liquor store or gun shop between the highway and his place or I would have stopped. Meeting with dirt contractor this morning to sort out pushing dirt for range bunkers.

Axle to replace in a caravan, and carb kit for the thermocanoworms will be in this afternoon.
 
Too much here for sure. Everyday for the last 2 weeks and some have been heavy rain
 
Next couple weeks will be nice,only a little rain scheduled…
