Check the axles. Blown axle can stop a car from moving too.

She is getting it towed here, Her husbans ex owns a flatbed. Glad they are on good terms. Will get it on the lift today for her and look at it.

I dont have a very high opinion of the cobalts. Think that model is one i have replaced the most engines in. Although they arent the most difficult to swap out. I did do one with a manual trans, and i was able to leave transmission in car.

LOL amazon 105, RA 149 same kit! Did the RSS no deals on RA
Even with a 5% discount code, not even close.
Sometimes RA shipping kills the savings over a local purchase too.
If I had a really good local parts store, I'd just be using them.
The closest pretty good one is in SW, but they dont know me well enough so need to go there and put a deposit on anything they don't have. That killed it for me. Between the time and fuel and general hassle not worth even calling them.

Im going to work,,,,,heavy duty rock demo dump trailers, not those tub frameless types you might see.......This trailer is used on a bridge job, they are cutting big sections of the roadway, big heavy slabs that just about fit in the body......Beats the **** out of trailer, doors especially and after a week of that the door won't shut properly.....Now they want to run sand and fine gravel.....Spilling out onto roadway....
What a mess but its fixable what's not fixable is a thirty something year old mechanic telling me how to fix it and then giving me attitude........ Ive done this job when he was shitting in his diaper
Next march celebrates 70 years young and a nice round number to tell everyone find another guy, its time
You have similar story? Im all ears.

Called them 189 is local. I have prime so free shipping, just want it to last about a year, had to do mine twice, sucked bought a really off brand.

Love them Semi End Dumps . Putting them upright after that gust of wind blows them over as they dump . Watching drivers stuff a blanket in the gap at the tailgate because they have to haul anything smaller than 6" rock .
Enjoying the blackout caused by raising the bed to dump and then dragging the raised trailer into nearby power lines .

So... on tap for today. Fuel tank plumbing and figuring out the NSS, probably not in that order. Then it’s adjust the transmission linkage and maybe start replumbing the brake lines.

Yeah...
Are you a "back at the challenge early" person or rather get a win in first with something a little more straightforward then back at the puzzle?

I'd punt the NSS puzzle for later in the day hoping for a AH-HAH moment while doing something else

Tipping them over is always the easy part and it is inevitable. Where it gets fun is setting them back on their feet and driving across town to the shop! Hah? Stacks crumpled, one side of trailer wheels not even on ground and trailer not just exactly straight behind ya. Chase rig driver just shaking his head, I’m thinking, hey I got air I am good to go!

it depends on the day. For today, it’s solve the puzzle first. If I can’t get the electrical sorted, there’s no point in doing the rest.

Did I mention I’m driving this thing to a car show fundraiser for kids on Friday?

It always turned into a :BangHead: day on the loader when half dozen of them show up to haul road base to a job 5 miles away and getting paid by the ton. 300 lbs over weight and dump 6 tons :BangHead: was pretty frequent .

Getting there. Not even an hour and im beat. Trailer decking about 1/2 fastened down. Its hot in here.

Yea, I was thinking of going to Starbucks for the v first time in my life.

I have a gift card I got from my boss about 6 months ago but I couldn't give it away and I have not used it yet.
Nothing wrong with Starbucks. Just a matter of what you order... If you go in looking for normal coffee, just order a cup of coffee. If you get sidetracked on the fru-fru crap menu and order something else - Guess what? They are goin to hand you a cup full of some concoction that has very little in common with a cup of coffee. And, it will have your name on it! :p
