Stop in for a cup of coffee

Using an old style timing chain cover, on magnum. Have to use a magnum balancer, so timing marks are not in the right place. So just use a timing tape, right? All the reviews say the same thing, they come off at speed. Guess what? They are correct! Came off! POS...
Paint it

Think I am finnaly ready to get rid of my OLD Snap on lower box, draw slides are done non roller type. Really like the HF one for 400, the wife asked me what I want for Bday so.....
Any one have a coupon?
I believe you have to go online and print them out.

One of the toughest part was getting inspection cover off. Top starter attachment is a stud. Tough to get off trans lines in the way. So I slotted that hole. Will be much easier to reinstall

Just wanted to pop in and say good afternoon to everyone, only true story i have that happened an hour ago is i was working on my mail box and one of the big black dogs from a naybor cam running at me, I hollered at him an made myself look big, he didn't slow down so I swung a pipe i had at him, stepped back to my truck door , grabbed my 9mm and walk towards my mail box and he came at me again, I shot 5 feet to his left in to a ditch, he ran back up the hill to his owners, I heard them saying that dogs going to get shot, to his wife, I said loudly that I don't want to shoot your dog but he needs to remember to leave me and my friends alone or he will be, and said it looks like he has mange!!
No reply, fixed my mail box and back up the hill to home I go.
Hot day, I think is Time for a C&W..

Someone mentioned that, clear tape over the whole thing.

Well, that was easy. Removed oil pump, removed rear main cap, Seal was cut! Nicked. or just defective... So just replace the easy part, the part in the cap!! Picture does not show anything..... But I am still going to replace the entire seal....on second thought....
Good deal, I would have suggested pcv, valve cover leaks, or a contributor to both. Mopar SB heads have a tendency to leak at the rear, and trickle all the way down to the rear seal. I modified my valve covers to have an extended oil vent path. I have a thread somewhere on it. But if you found a knicked gasket, sounds like ya got it.

Glad you are ok.
I was taught if a dog charges you raise both your arms when he is close enough. Dogs will jump up , and you get a good shot at kicking them in the chest.

With all the issues, One thing that is nice, no drive line vibration. Thought that might be an issue, moving the front u joint so far back. But, nope.... Be nice if the GV would shift tho!!!! Have to get oil pan back on. first.

Expensive paperweight at the moment?

@Mattax or anyone else,

I’m shopping for a new wiring harness, decided I’m either going to make my own clone of the factory or get one of the Painless/Rebel newer style harnesses. Most options appear to use a voltmeter system vs an ammeter. Would this affect the rest of my gauges any? I’m only running factory gauges on the Polara, the dart is full aftermarket with a Voltmeter anyway, so no issue there.

IMO there is no need to have battery charging AMPERAGE going into the cabin of the vehicle. Thru that crappy bulkhead connector. Use a volt gauge.

The hobby has lost many cars due to fires from that set up (amp meter) over the years. Much better to have the volt meter as mentioned.

Sweet that solves that issue. Probably gonna have to lay this out and figure out what goes where, this will be FUN
