Yes. for the switched power side. The control side needs to be ran off the ignition feed. Maybe off the plus side of the coil. If you dont know how to wire a relay post here.....You might get away with wiring it to the positive side of the coil. But I would not leave it that way...just to get it running....

There is no terminal on the solenoid that does that....the main term is hot all the time not switched.....could I just run a wire off the solenoid?

So yesterday at work I was driving to the site, temp was 34 degrees and I was climbing so usually gets colder but there was a temp inversion and I ended up at 41 degrees at the site. I felt good about that then a co-worker returned a call, I hadn't heard from him in a couple days. He's in Cancun, 80 degrees, 5th floor of hotel looking over the ocean with Margarita in hand, damn!
