The world is full of D-bags... Such are things today. It wasn't an employee was it?

My guess is that there are limited shops to do the alignment work on that car...

Not an employee. A hang outer... Only one shop in town....

Was just talking with someone about how that was normal 'til the 50s. Someone - usually the father, would go downstairs and get the furnace going again. Even for me growing up with an automatic furnace, the thermostat was turned down to 55 at night.
Looks like some concerned citizen gave an officer a free ride last night.

So in the fickle finger of fate award, some lady who did not speak English and thus could not read the huge no parking signs right outside a 12 by 16 equipment access door decided in her infinite wisdom to park there. My operator jumped in our very large pay loader opened the big door and backed out. She was so close the backup camera looked right over the top of her rig. He was watching the edge of the door as he has very little margin of error. Impacted her car and proceeded to push it across the lot on the icy surface as he backed up. He never even felt it impact as he was going very slow. And yes back up beeper was going off etc she just ignored all that and witnesses say she laid on horn and screamed, did not feel the need to move her truck. Keep in mind the pay loader is creeping out of the barn at a very slow pace. Police called and instantly her English got much better, my driver did not get so much as a citation, she got an improper parking writ! Plus a trip to body shop! Hehehehe.

How are Mexicans like cue balls????

The harder you hit them, the more English you get out of them....

(No offense to Mexicans....)

Well the virus found Cheryl...again.
Sunday, she woke up and felt like she had a head cold with a weak cough.
She took Monday off from work, but with the state employee rules had to get a test.
Test to our surprise came back positive.
She's staying back in our bedroom masking up if she goes to the kitchen and wiping down anything she touches.
I feel fine nothing and staying in the guest room since Sunday.
She feels better and no real problems. She has to quarantine through Friday, and then wear a mask for a week if she goes out.
Having it twice now she should be good to go for a while.
With my major covid bout a year ago, I guess the antibodies are still strong.

Get well soon to her, and you take care not to catch it...

Some good healthy food you are eating Mitch, it may not be any of my business but...... what age are you as you enjoy this time in life? I bet you feel ten years younger while you are over there sir :)

You're only as young as the woman that you feel.... :D

Slow in here today did someone forget to fill the coffee pot this morning.

Been busy. Sams and Wal MArt run, Liquor store run, pharmacy, and went to visit Mom. She's doing good for 95. Oh and 5 pm at Ted's for a tasting. Getting things lined up for our second whiskey tasting event.

Tell him to change the rear shocks on his Nova....

They are notorious for the nuts inside the frame rusting and spinning out when you try to remove them....

I used to do rack work at our local Sears garage here after high school... I had 3 Nova work orders to change the rear shocks on and couldn't complete one of them because of the nut rusting out defect... We would refer them to a local welding shop to weld a new piece of metal and nut in there so we could replace the shocks....

Never saw one of those guys come back with the repair....

And yes, he was an ***....

How can you criticize someone else's car when yours is way worse???? :realcrazy: :icon_fU:

Maybe put up a post here and see if anyone else has measured one....

@toolmanmike have you ever measured the volume above the piston on a 273 with the Egge pistons or know of anyone who has???
I measured the compression ratio but I have no idea where all the figures are. I milled my 273 heads .030 to get closer to advertised minimum. I ended up with like 9.61 compression
