Stop in for a cup of coffee

Where did you get it restored?

When David Rea was still on Graveyard Carz he did a carb restoration spot one night.
He said they sent their carbs to Harms Auto for restoration.
Another guy I knew who had lived in the area for years confirmed the guy and said he was top notch.
I called him, sent him my carb, and got it back in about six weeks.
Warning he doesn't like to talk to long on the phone. He's busy.

So the barracks we were in were brand spanking new. We were the first group to go thru them. The red clay surrounding the building, they were trying to get grass to grow in. But there was a lot of gravel in the clay, so we’d play “gravel collector”. Or Low crawling, usually while it’s raining, and picking up every piece of gravel we found

Always enjoyed the creativity of the drill sergeants

I seem to remember a show (not TMMs), in the Midwest somewhere that we were at and the judge literally deducted points away from you because he could not find any flaws? I will not get the quote verbatim but his response was basically “they did not build them this perfect” I wanted to strangle the judge. Zman was waaaaay calmer then I would have been.
Wasn’t that the Omaha show? Put me I’m modified because I had FI and after market wheels on my car.

Thanks. I have a lot to do but the original carb needs to be restored.

Power dropped for a second last night...everything alarms, chirps and buzzes then resets. Too many electronics in the house.

Time to get the pre-workout stretch and put in some miles

The weather turns for the better here today. We've had rain off and on and cooler weather 30's- 40's for a week. At least I can escape to the outdoors.
Boss has been working from home trying to get a few court decisions written up before she retires.
She keeps getting interrupted phone calls from the office...well you are the boss I tell her.
Anyway, in this mode I walk softly through the house and only speak when spoken too...you know the drill.
Just a few more weeks and it will all be done.
She said she'll be ready to celebrate...yah me too!!

Enjoy your run!!
Last week I ordered a new pair of running shoes, I'm ready to start doing a little jogging. We have the perfect two mile loop here.
I ran for years and my knees a few years ago started bothering me.
I stopped and switched to cardio tennis. Knee trouble has disappeared.
I plan to start slow the old airborne shuffle. Nice slow pace gets the hear rate up for a good 45 minutes.
Not looking to run a 10K. :D

I've switched to Spin bike... too many years under a rucksack... but I'm getting back a lot of my range of motion with the program I'm on.
20 - 30 miles on the bike, 3 days a week. I'll get about a 800 -90p calorie burn per session. Resting heartrate now down to 57... I'll hit 172 at peak stress.

Good Morning Everyone. I hope all is well. Cool, rainy day here again today. Hood should be here today, in theory. It is supposed to be cooler the next week or so, just in 30s as high. Summer (60 one day) was nice while we had it..

So my friend Matt stops by yesterday tells me he was invited to a persons house that only ran Hemi's from the 50's to mid 70's. I guess he died and the wife is giving Matt first crack at his stuff. Supposed to be a few containers. This can be seriously dangerous to my wallet. I am just going for ignition stuff and give him ideas on the prices.

Morning!
A few degrees below freezing, and a couple days of colder weather coming. Floor patches should be all done today. Will get owner down next week, to clean and seal/paint floor.
