Stop in for a cup of coffee

They are. As good as is available... The float position on the bench was appropriate with what the gauge showed....or close....I did notice the lower part of the scale had little movement, just like in the car....
Basically the old “don’t let it hit 1/4 tank” rule

Ugh starting to go on the emotional roller coaster again. Daughter turned 1 today, tomorrow morning is the 1 year anniversary of my grandfathers sudden passing. Was doing ok until a few minutes ago.

I chuckled when I read this pm from a member here. I explained that you were a nice guy and good to deal with. :poke::lol:

"I was wondering if you could help me with some confusion I have. Member Old man ray, in his avatar it shows him as a banned member, he has a 100% trade rating. I don't know whether to sell him some items or to not sell to him because of what it say about being banned?

Thank You for any help! Also, Thank You for policing this great sight!"

I’ve been reading that wrong. I thought he was a BAND member.

So my Fuel gauge install goes on. As you recall, I bench tested the new gauge with the new sending unit/float. I was reasonably happy with the results. BUT, I installed everything, and, 1 gallon, no gauge movement, BUT the car will run. 2 gallons same. 3 same. 4 needle just moves. 5 gallons and you can see the empty mark on the left side of the needle. 6, 7,8, now shows 1/4 tank. 9, same just a little movement, 10, little more, 11 gallons shows 1/2 tank. Need to get more fuel to continue.... At 9 gallons, It started to leak a little, I tightened the ring, it stopped, but that is about 1/2 way up the tank...
Appreciate the erport. Should add what you learned to Dana's post. I think he did the same but with his '67.

Morning!
Wet snow today. Im out of wood pellets. So electric heat goes back on. Trunk floor patches today. Need my bead roller and shrinker/stretcher.

We get rain mixed with snow for next couple of days. My wood pellet supply is down to a few bags. Should work out pretty well. Not fat from putting a demon outside! Good morning coffee crew!
Ah, so im not alone. I had pellet stove on the next higher setting most of the winter, with electric totally off. Same in the house. Started with 20 bags left over from last year. Between house and shop is 200 bags total.
