Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yup. Some have some extra terminals for otehr cars. Also may have a 20 amp breaker instead of 15,

Gmorning Tim!

Anyone remember who was making the cool billet gas caps? Aluminum. I need a new O ring for mine....

I have actually bought a few listed here. Some were even my cars. So thanks for the postings!

Yes. :)

I actually was asking about the instruments that aren't lighting up now?

Check the pins carefully also where the main harness connects, they have a habit of loosening up.

I used a brass pin. They sell them in hardware stores for key escutcheans and such.

Could be as simple as the headlight switch. Had that on the cuda.

Good am all.....Chris, a good place to look is the rheostat in the headlight switch. Common issue. And I think you can still buy a new switch most anywhere...that sells car parts....

I should probably go ahead and get at running all that down as I have the steering column dropped from disconnecting the steering gear so pulling the panel would be pretty simple.....and I need to check the speedometer cable connection as well as it will start flopping about above 45 MPH.

Wow. Guess that just proof that collector stuff isnt worth much when a bunch of collectors are not there to compete for it.
It would be like trying to sell a 1970 Challenger t/a with 6 pac to my neighbors on this block. Probably couldn't get a dollar for it.
Can sometimes find things going cheep on ebay just cause it has a crappy description or misspelled word and others that would bid high never see it.

I have a thread showing where the speedometer drum was wobling and the marks show where it was hitting or getting hit. That was an expensive repair.

On the way to Iowa for TMM and lovely wife

Ha! So no centerfold?

Seriously. That should be good. Quite a few guys into reloading that round.
I was one of the early supporters of Dillion reloading equipment. Not because of any science or intelligence I was simply a young competitive shooter and could not afford anything else. They had/do have great customer service. My first Blue press the head was not removable and you had to spin the RCBS lock rings on your lathe to get them to fit with each other. Changeovers were a total PITA, circa 79 maybe? Wish I still had that press, it was cutting edge at the time, very innovative.

Talk about out of place. Must be 500 people at this viewing.
Only guy without a sun tan.
Decided to wait in the car its pouring buckets.

Ahhh

THAT is more of a mystery. I checked and replaced fuse, then installed new bulbs still nothing. Short of pulling the board I'll try replacing the bulb sockets. After that I guess I'll need to trace power and see where it's dropping. I'm assuming that the same power input that feeds the high beam indicator and turn signal indicator feeds the dash lights.
I have the wiring diagram here somewhere but haven't invested a lot of time following the traces
No. The headlight switch powers the dash lights. Orange wire? Been a while. It comes on with park lamp circuit and goes through dimmer.

Oh great.... LOL

Have a link?

Never mind... Got it

Speedometer evaluation?
@RedFish has great experience and knowledge. But he posted that he was taking a break. I think too much stupid and people wanting spoon feeding.. He's been a great asset, but I understand.

If you need to borrow the shipping support I made, let me know.

Handloading was fun and it's products sure woke up that Ruger 22-250 rat rifle I had :D. Efficient projectiles for the 30-30 lever/pickup gun :D

Well, my day was off to a good start. Sump pump in basement was not moving any water. The cheap hose failed. I taped it up a while back, promptly forgot about getting a new one. Pulled hose and turned it end for end.so clamp would seal it. So an hour or so of muddling around and its fixed.
