Tag weld a washer and push it outAny ideas on removing the LCA inner bushing sleeve off of the control arm shaft?
Punching out the outer portion from the LCA wasn't too bad...but the control arm shaft is posing a challenge.

I think I held it with vice grips and pressed it out with a shop press.....Or a cold chisel and cut it off....That is what I did. Put pivot in bench vice, used a cold chisel, and hammer, and pushed it off...

Yup. But not for too long, will smoke the coil.Is bypassing a ballast resistor as easy as it sounds? just connect the two wires together?

Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. From experienceIs bypassing a ballast resistor as easy as it sounds? just connect the two wires together?
what happens with it?Don’t do it. It’s not worth it. From experience
Should work. Internal resistor coils are typically used on gm’s but i see no reason that it wont cause an issue.will doing it this way work? (elec. choke will go on third terminal)View attachment 1715903284
Bad stuff, very bad stuff, like boomwhat happens with it?
well yes, but I thought that applied to stock 9v coilsBad stuff, very bad stuff, like boom
I have none in my 66...MSD Blaster 2 coil and a MSD Dist.... All 12 volt.....You don't see race cars with a resistor?well yes, but I thought that applied to stock 9v coils
