Ahhhh I am getting a beaker from Jim Beam for the barrel pick kit I got. It was missing. They just wanted some barrel information to make sure all was legit. Just a couple e mails and all is good.

Running lean.........to do that to muffler.....OR ignition turned off and turned on again quickly. Built up fuel and ignited it causing damage....

I ran tripower on my 65 GTO
Looks nice,sounds great when you open all three.
Good fuel economy just running off the center carb.
Overall pain in the *** to keep tuned.
Not worth the hassle
. Still have two setups with manifolds in a box someplace.

They replied to my message very quickly.....:thumbsup: They show lots of products sold out, BUT they do have more listed then a few weeks ago...
 
In for the day and beat up. Fun day though. Doug the guy with the car would fit in fine here. Did get this finally. Super score for sure. Put 1500 on it and see what sticks?

What a day.
Moms roommate in the hospital has bad dimentia. She went to personal care this morning. But all day yesterday they were talking, being left all alone and ignored. Now my mom is all wound up and thinks the same thing is going to happen. Wont accept a thing i say as true. Her suite is all set up,happy hour and everything.
What sucks is tuesday mom was looking forward to going.

Its an adjustment period. I've been thru it in the past with 3 family members
Just be supportive, and give her time.
 
My wingman left for the desert this morning for the Stagecoach Music Festival. Music festival in that part of Ca this time of year is :realcrazy:. Normal day out there in April 35mph winds and can't see across the street for the dust :lol:. It's blowin' pretty good here by the beach and I was funnin' him that I could see the beach sand from the Pismo Beach dunes heading inland :rofl:"Don't send any more" he responds "We got plenty of our own out here already" :rofl: Their weather forecast looked so promising this morning :lol:
 
So, I think this is the basic concept I want to go with for my hood paint on the Demon. There may be a interesting addition, I will know more tomorrow. This is a printed photo. colored with sharpie and highlighter, then pic with my phone, but you get the idea, I hope. And it will be symmetrical unlike the attachment. Thoughts?

Got me a new project. An 80s JD 4440 to restore. Hasn’t moved under its own power since early 1998 thanks to a rusted and busted drivetrain. But I managed to get it fixed with some REM Oil and adjusting the rear axle back into alignment!

If it was me, and it is not! I would angle the leading edge (by inlet) of the very top side of the hood scoop. Being at ninety degrees it looks like it is fighting the sloped base of hood scoop line below. Then you have both side stripes complimenting each other.

Thanks! It can be adjusted. In the rendering, I just followed the scoop molding lines. Here is the hood in white gel coat.
