Should be showin' about 115°F on Saturday
Hmm mine from moog on the Polara were two piece ones. HmmNo, the strut rod bushings are the one piece ones and are on the top left of the picture...

Will a 73-76 A body one fit? If so, I have one that @WV64Signet can have freeNo. Get a front sway bar. Even a stock one.
Other than for getting the last fraction of perfomance for drag racing or rock crawling, a front sway bar is the best single improvement one can make to the handling.

Yeah, I think the later ones went thru the K frame and the early ones were mounted UNDER the K. I may have that backwardsI don't think so... The early a-body sway bars are different than the 67 and later design...
FixedSo if I'm not running a sway bar up front, I need to add one...
Cost more for gas than for the straw.Nice I just found some bales of barley straw for the pond. Only issue is 50 miles each way!
Happy Birthday!Taking day off.
Going to fetch the Lebaron today. My son wants to help. Also a 400/4bbl/727 that last ran 30 years ago. And a pile of A-body stuff thats in a trunk.
Lets hope he keeps getting better every day.Morning.
quick up date on the FIL.
Tuesday, a rock wall gave way and he fell over 40 ft onto a limestone ledge. He was awake and alert thru the entire recuse and recovery. He has a broken neck, but has regained SOME feeling and movement in his one leg, and both arms, exceptions being his fingers and his right leg.
No prognosis at this time as it’s still too soon to know. they won’t know until swelling goes down.
Thanks for all the prayers
62 and older, those are hard to find. notice only 4 bolts.Another rare find, at least for the Island anyway...
Offenhauser vintage valve covers Mopar - auto parts - by owner -... (craigslist.org)
Easier. Assuming they are the correct dimensions. The front and back bushings should be different.I went with the two-piece bushings that were on the struts that I purchased from @65 Dartman

Making A-Body Strut rod Bushings Work
As far as sway bar tabs, I'd consider that completely seperate from engine changes.v-8 is slightly heavier but moves the weight back a little.
The trick if welding tabs is to locate them so the link is vertical in the normal ride position, not with the wheels hanging.
Those don't look factory either.

The fine thread strut is correct for the earlier cars.
But the bushing looks fat to my eyes, and the fine thread struts have the washers face in to retain the bushings.
This photo is from oldmanmopar posted or maybe one I took at his place

You'll see what he shows matches the FSMs
After market ones probably copied from the coarse threaded version. The bushings had offsets that fit into the K frame hole and the washers were marked stating which side to face toward the bushing. Might be a later version or something. The two I took off the car were not the same (back to my theory that the left side of the suspension was wrecked at some point)
Won’t be for long. Wheat crops took a HUGE hit this year. Straw is forecast to go from 3.50 a bale average to possible as high as 12-15 around hereFixed

Happy Birthday!
Hey I’m not imagining things hahaAfter market ones probably copied from the coarse threaded version.

That’s what We’re all hoping. What we do know is that he was on the “safe” side of the marked safety line. By a lot. If he’d been 3 ft closer, the trajectory would have sent over the 2nd ledge and down an addition 90-150 feet
