No, I was using a metaphor as humor. Eluding to the fact we all share the same addiction and are in recovery or denial. We keep buying Mopars, but falsely believe we can stop anytime. Thus the reference to an addiction meeting. Circle of chairs free cookie, introducing yourself. Clearly I need to rethink my wit!

You'll need a Federal permit, a lot of equipment and expect less than a quart of 90+% ethanol per gallon of mash. 2# of corn per gallon of water will net you maybe a pint of alcohol or so I've been told. It's not really very efficient.

Who said they’d know about it haha. And two, it wouldn’t be for distribution.
 
If I member right, gasoline does have approximately twice the available BTUs as ethanol.

I'm not ashamed to say it, but were it not for our local food bank, Kitty and would go without some months.

Watching Madame Secretary on Netflix and sipping on some Cedar Ridge Rye. This is the second round though the series. It's interesting how much Russia/Ukraine dialog is written into the story line, written a few years ago.
