Silly fun fact, the majority of the Dutch tulips are actually grown right here in the good ole USA, Skagit Valley Wa to be exact. They then ship them to Holland who then exports them back to the US. Nurseries then market as imported Dutch tulips and make a nice margin. Google Skagit Valley tulip festival for some stunning pictures.We went to Pella, Iowa yesterday. It's a old Dutch town a couple hours away. Tulip Time is in a week but we went early to beat the crowds. The bakery we went to is family owned since 1898.
