Wow I didn't know that either. yes it was and suprised it's not being used today.
The one I broke is a 1981 block. They were in use until 2000
No parts scores at the swap meet but it has been a great day. Did have a nice visit with the shop guys that painted my lace and put together a plan for some more work

Silly fun fact, the majority of the Dutch tulips are actually grown right here in the good ole USA, Skagit Valley Wa to be exact. They then ship them to Holland who then exports them back to the US. Nurseries then market as imported Dutch tulips and make a nice margin. Google Skagit Valley tulip festival for some stunning pictures.
Sorry. I have have set of white ones sitting in between the studs of the garage. Good for emergency use was my thinking I think.

I'm sure they had nothing to do with rough ride he complained about on the trip to Keith's place.

According to Wiki, Chrysler quit using Slantys in the states in '87, but continued to build them until 2000 for marine, industrial, and replacement needs. Never got to the EFI stage.
