Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Good Morning! I have a question for the all knowing coffee crew. If you chop a top where do you get the glass for it?
Depends. Some go to a glass manufacturer to cut it. We have one local. Others use lexan. I have seen more lately that lay the window down to use it uncut. Curved windows make it much harder.

Tempting

Monday morning commo check...oh and coffee check also. Good copy and coffee roger out.

Good morning!! Gonna be a good week... spent a few hours in the garage last night...

Into this... I'm not sure what it was supposed to look like so i guessed... just need it to seal and a spot for the splash shield to mount... Also... got my welder figured out a bit.. which is great after did all the **** you can see... this spot is pretty much 100% hidden.

How much? I didn't see a price
Reasonable. Anything under $50 ea on a IPB is a steal. I am good on what I need printed them dist stuff out from My Mopar. Only a few pages I really use. I do have alot f the pre 60 ones though mostly autolite.

What was my day yesterday?? Spent three hours at Cheryl's nephew's college graduation. Sitting in a football stadium on a warm in plastic seats. The only good thing is that it was a warm day and there were plenty of sun dresses to occupy the lost time of my life.

Came home and we made dinner for the daughter and GD and gave them their graduation and birthday presents.

@halifaxhops I sent you a PM about the banner.

As for shirts. Cuttoff will likely be tomorrow so I can get her working on them. She is very busy and I want them out ASAP.

It sure as hell got me. First one I ever had go bad in over forty years of doing it. But I guess I redeemed myself a little on this Ford 400 since I broke two sets of lifters in on it. LOL But you're right. It's a huge problem.
yeah the shop I had do my Cummins head has been in business for nearly 60 years, he’s stopped doing flat tappet installs in anything due to all the warranty issues.

There’s a place in Louisville that will come out, scan it with a 3d scanner and and then cut you one from there. But they’re expensive.

And they only do that if you’re close enough.

Otherwise, you pretty much have to use the factory glass if it’s got any curve at all to it and tape a template to it

It's been apart before. That could be good.
Not necessarily. The 74 dodge van I messed with years ago that was bought new and never had any engine work had stamping on the rod caps. That was a 318 though

Nice work there!

Great the mower spindles will be here today, BUT have to drive the wife around since Matt has her car and the R/T is to fast for her! Dammit!

Curious about the piston part numbers. I saw one reference to them being 66.... but not sure what the 65 part number was to compare. Could just be a late year motor so the 66 parts were available.
Have the number? I can reach out to a friend.
