Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not necessarily. The 74 dodge van I messed with years ago that was bought new and never had any engine work had stamping on the rod caps. That was a 318 though
I've also seen a factory untouched engine that used playing card symbols for markings. Although it was a Maltese cross engine, I've seen others like that that were not. The factory did use markings on some......for whatever reason.

I’ve always wondered if it was a QC thing.

Not sure what is on the schedule today...................still waiting on some parts.

Here is a pic of the truck with the new coopers, very happy with them. I also have them on the Ford. It is amazing what a difference an AT tire and one sizer bigger makes.............I did have to remove the front muds guards.

My Galen pocket book doesn't list pistons but Google helped out and brought me back here to FABO. Those are 66's for sure. Without a parts book it is possible Ma Mopar used those for a few years.

I needed one and found one that fit last week on market place fb for 300. I looked at prices and didn't need one for 2.400 bucks

I don't know what he paid. He bought it shortly after buying the truck new in 2014. It is as old as the truck. There is also a full bedrug in there.

Depends. Some go to a glass manufacturer to cut it. We have one local. Others use lexan. I have seen more lately that lay the window down to use it uncut. Curved windows make it much harder.
Can tempered glass be recut? I assumed the tempering was done after it was cut/shaped. I know if you hit an edge wrong it's in a million pieces... :BangHead:

Good Morning All

Another thing I’m seeing lately too is plunging the windshield down into the cowl too

There’s a couple ways to do it, one with a laser cutter. The other, old school method, involves scoring with a diamond blade and then using alcohol or lighter fluid and setting the score on fire
