If you replace the cam a Isky E4 is a popular one. It is a solid lifter cam like the original and similar (but slightly larger) specs.

TMM, What part number is this Isky E4? This comes up when searching for compatible solid cam - Part Number: ISK-390144

Part Number: ISK-390144

Never Mind

Found the answer digging in the search bar.

Back from hospital. Doc prescribed something to tone down the pain. Targets the nerves. Bad sciatica. And pharmacies closed today. Gave me one pill to get me through the night.
Damn that Sciatica can be painful. Aspirin or OTC pain killers won't help. My chiropractor helped me though. Knock on wood, I haven't had it for years. I have (may be had) a bulging disc. L4 or 5. I saw it on the x ray years ago and it was just a wedge. Bone on bone on one side and bulged out on the other. It was just irritating the hell out of the nerve.

Damn Frank 1 pill?
I like that.. can we call him "Franky 1 pill" now?

That sounds painful just thinking about it.

Day four, still cigarette free. I feel much better. Thank you all for your support
I had a note stuck to the dash of my tool truck. "The urge to have a cigarette will go away whether you have one or not" That got me past the urges.

I finished the tilling. Planted some peas and sugar snaps, green and wax beans, radishes and lettuce. I need to go shopping this afternoon and I will pick up some tomato plants, peppers and onions. Oh, I need some spinach seeds too. Give me a second and I will post a couple pics on here. I know, silly photos but I can save them to my laptop now.

Lol, I have a note downstairs on my desk in the garage. Lists reasons not to smoke or not to drink too much beer. Did not mention it earlier, but also have not had an alcoholic drink in about 6 days. My liver will thank me . Kkkkkkkk

Side windows on new cars are now safety glass.
laminated or tempered? Both are safety glass. Traditionally windshields are laminated and all other auto glass is tempered.
Looking up part # for my CX-30 side windows... haven't got an answer what glass type yet. But crazy thing is the part # seems to cross for Mazda , Ford Fusion, Tesla X and a Beemer. And the pics look like it could be correct... :wtf:

I need to do a little shopping this afternoon. I will pick up some tomato and pepper plants, onion sets, and some spinach seeds. The weather is supposed to be nice this week and I can get them planted along with some cucumbers, summer squash and zucchini. I should be done then.

Damn I love retirement. We were just talking on Facebook Messenger chat about how you can taste the barrel char on Reposado tequila. I just happened to have a bottle handy so I poured a dram. Sure enough, you can taste the char.

Did they talk to you about any stretching or anything PT related that might help loosen things up Frank?
I cant stretch. I can hardly stand. The longest most painful charlie horse i ever experienced.

I take Milk Thistle for liver health.

Well i took the pill
Gabapentin. I could be a zombie shortly. Hopefully in less pain.

Learning more about reading spark plugs today. Color, burn line on the ground strap, and the fuel (AFR) burn line on the porcelain. Can learn a bunch about how the engine is running. So, I cut some plugs here at work to see what I can learn. These are a bit rich, ground strap doesn't have a nice burn line visible (line should be burnt all the way to the weld point just above the threads and the fuel line on the radious of the porcelain is a bit dark, should be a bit lighter, but overall in good shape.
