Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well, I am pretty proud of myself!

It may be no big deal to a lot of you guys, due to your experience and knowledge with this stuff. But for me, getting the bearings and seals, all new wheel cylinders, front drum brakes, rear drum brakes and new parking brake cables installed is a huge accomplishment for me. The car has been sitting on the jacks for weeks. I finished it all up yesterday and finally have the wheels and tires back on the car and can check this big box off my list.

What a great learning experience and now this will be much easier in the future. I appreciate all the help and comments.

A couple of days ago, I also installed new rear shocks in the stock mounting location. I have done shocks before, so no big deal other than another box checked off.

 :steering:
Feels good to get **** done :)

Vietnamese breakfast today. Noodles with shrimp and muscles. Yum yum

My 10 year old granddaughter thought it'd make a better lunch...lol!!
That may be true, but in Vietnam they eat Pho or Hu Tieu for breakfast regularly. Both are a sort of soup with different things in them. Sometimes seafood, sometimes beef, sometimes pork. Sometimes just vegetables.

Well the last front end alignment I had done last week on the Scamp turned out wrong.
Looks like I'm buying new front tires and a alignment. Inside right tire is completely balled.:BangHead:

Hmmm....

Wonder if I can bring the retro-mobile system up there and see if we can figure it out before you head back Fred?

I'm not an alignment specialist, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express once.

Well preparing for the trip back to NJ. Just reserved a 30 yard dumpster for cleaning out the garage and area behind the garage. NO, I will not be just tossing everything in there. However, there is a ton of just garbage and debris. I will be there June 15th, dumpster delivered on the 16th and I will have it for 10 days. Me and the dog will be there for a few weeks working.

Neighbor from Northern NJ and Hispanic, said he saw 2 white rats going into the garage the other day through a hole in the foundation.....................................I am assuming they are possums. Great, I hate those things! Hopefully they will not be there in a couple weeks.

Yeah, they're creepy but get 'em to go "dead" and you can just pick them up by the tail and heave them out of the garage.

How are the women with the American cuisine?
Ray, they don't like it very much. I'm always taking them to the supermarket to buy Vietnamese vegetables and herbs and spices so she can cook Vietnamese food here at the house. Not sure how that's fair. When I go to Vietnam I eat whatever they put in front of me and I do whatever they like me to do. I'm having a problem getting them to do that here. Lol
