Have you done a compression test ? Just a thought.@Just Ron
Another issue that may or may not be related. The PCV valve rattles.....
So, talking this over here at work, we had a discussion about a bad ring/broken ring/up side down ring possibility. The thought was oil is getting into the chamber and fouling the plug...the cylinder then no longer fires and gas washes the plug clean except where the electrode and ground strap are partially guarded from incoming fuel...explains the oily residue in the exhaust pipe also. At higher RPM maybe the cylinder works...unsure. The rattle from the PCV valve could be combustion pressure getting into the crankcase....rattle (due to pressure change) each time that cylinder comes up.
Good way to tell.Another thought, yes. Cylinder drop test. He can run it at idle, and pull plug wires at the distributor.
Yeah I think I can drink black coffee. I hardly add any creamer anyway. Taking a cup with me for the drive to the dentistNice work, it will be much better soon.
Docs here allow black coffee on blood work days. I would have some major issues without it
he is supposed to be doing that this AMHave you done a compression test ? Just a thought.
Can't like that, especially in the heat/humidity you get down thereFour loads of red dirt inbound! Reckon I will be spreading and leveling all day!
My daughters cat has neurological issues. Among other strange behaviors. when you pet it, it often falls over.
Will doLet me know when you are going and I will see about meeting you there. I have to do a bunch of work with a Church security Team this week and weekend but I should be done by then?
Decomposed granite? I only ask cuz the quarry I worked had this nice blue rock we crushed for road materials. The material that was exposed to the elements before we got there with our explosives to mine it about 8' deep covering the granite was Rustoleum RedFour loads of red dirt inbound! Ladder work is hard on our body, feet especially. Take care of yourself so you can enjoy your beuityful home for many years.I am just sipping my green tea waiting for some daylight, trying to beat the heat. I got hot yesterday for sure. I drank about 900 gallons of water! Can’t wait to get all this substructure done on the deck. Once that is done I can work from the top and not be on a ladder all day. My feet are killing me!
Hopefully all machine work. I don't have that option, so have been slowly digging at a mound of dirt around trunk of tree I had removed over a year ago. Was at it yesterday and took out a big chunk of root. Might take another year till I get it done, LOL Good exercise anyway...Four loads of red dirt inbound! Reckon I will be spreading and leveling all day!

Don't forget arms, shoulders and everything else. I really try not to, but always tend to over-reach and feel it the next day...Ladder work is hard on our body, feet especially. Take care of yourself so you can enjoy your beuityful home for many years.

Should i bother reinforcing my LCAs? just wondering if it matters for a normal street beater.. other than maybe a small strip of metal to stop spreading at the rear
Yeah, just wondering if it's worth doing...I added the reinforcing plates when I redid mine. Bought them from PST.. $40 bucks for the pair as I recall
Yeah, just wondering if it's worth doing...
