Local farmers get mostly one cutting of hay a year here.

I had two in the drug unit I supervised high energy.
Evening/night whatever.
Very very long weekend. Yesterday was Uncle Sam time, 1200-2400, home about 0100, never could fall asleep, 0500 wake up to take the goats to the local county 4H fair(my daughters first year). Had to be there by 0700, my brother saved the day by hauling the goats in his truck since mine ate itself alive Friday. Then on the way from the fair to drill for another 12 hour shift, the brakes failed suddenly, had to call in for the first time in 18 years to miss the day. Ended up just being the ABS sensor came unhooked and apparently that shuts down everything into limp mode in the computer.
Anyway, my daughter took 9 projects to the fair, 8 have been judged so far. I’m in totally proud papa and shock mode right now. She won one Reserve grand overall champion, 3 division champions(one of which won reserve grand overall) , 2 reserve division champions, 7 Blue stars with Merit(merit ones go for champions etc) and 1 first place in age division(can be bumped up if she does well in the fashion show later this week)
She also has the chance to possibly add to that total with a rocket flight tomorrow and the goat competition Wednesday and Thursday.
Mean while, I’m been awake since 0630 Saturday morning. Pure caffeine being pumped into my heat lol

Yep. But honestly, I rarely sleep these days. Haven’t in a long time. What sleep I do get I call it combat sleep, I’m out but I’m fully aware of my surroundings and any movement or noise change, no matter how slight, I’m up in an instance.
Must have to much going on in your life like stress and I know that will cause sleeping problems.

Hi Ray....I hope that was your name, I bought a distributor from you at Carlisle for my 70 340 Duster that had previously been changed over to electronic ignition. I asked and you threw in a cap and rotor too. I went to the Outer Banks for a family vacation right from Carlisle and got back today and after the 10+ hour drive and washing the 2 family cars that made the long trip from CT to NC and my sons car I had some time and installed the distributor I bought from you. Set the timing and just running and hitting the throttle in my driveway the engine seemed way more responsive. Went for a little ride and my car is now running like a beast. Did a burn out and literally had to let off cause I was way out of control. I'm glad I made the purchase from you at Carlisle. Thank You.

Thanks. Usually when they start like that it is bad. Rain today. Man I have some serious catch up to do and a crapload of running around today to do. Was going to go out to lunch but things changed and am running out of time fast. Got the distribs out of the tubs to dry with Tim yesterday laid on the shelves, now a inventory and put them in order. PIA. Did have the guy across the street get the lawn cut, he is interested in doing it every other week. That will be a big help.

Nice day today, 80 degrees maybe. Plan was to do some stuff in quonset. Get generator running and and run the welder a little. My son asked if i can drive him to airport. Sure. He flys out to work in a remote location, and last round theft was attempted, truck broken into and column was trashed. Its not fixed yet so i will drive him there. We get to hang out for the morning, im looking forward to it.
