Payback day... :lol:

Had tweaked my shoulder lifting a couple of weeks ago... well, apparently, it didn't appreciate the work on the car this weekend... Leg cramp woke me up at 0300... can't raise my right arm and blazing headache. Awesome

So sitting with a bag of frozen corn on my neck and my pre-workout elixir drink getting ready to get on the bike.

Last day here before the heat and humidity move in. Not fun in a container need to try to hit it hard today.

Thanks. Usually when they start like that it is bad. Rain today. Man I have some serious catch up to do and a crapload of running around today to do. Was going to go out to lunch but things changed and am running out of time fast. Got the distribs out of the tubs to dry with Tim yesterday laid on the shelves, now a inventory and put them in order. PIA. Did have the guy across the street get the lawn cut, he is interested in doing it every other week. That will be a big help.

A customer insisted he wants to cut my grass. Said he was coming this morning. Well, the sliding door in his mazda was stuck, i fixed it yesterday morning.its been bugging him for a few weeks.
 
I tell you what my mower is driving me nuts. Ready to ditch the belly mower and either get a finish mower for the 3 point or just hire itt out.
 
I tell you what my mower is driving me nuts. Ready to ditch the belly mower and either get a finish mower for the 3 point or just hire it out. No time for this crap being 1 deep. 2 belts one as a spare 120, three new pulley 62 each JD. A few hours...........already have around 350-400 into it. Oh yeah work is coming in also should be 3-4 here today and already have a meter to calibrate. Really cant do crap till I get the distributors inventoried, really have no idea what is left, crossing them off the list as they sold worked great for a few hours........

I'm right there with you. Yesterday we had to move the car trailer a 180 to hook up to his truck. I have a electric trailer puller but had the trailer parked too close to the retaining wall. Had to work it back and forth a little push and pull and ended up tweaking my lower back. A day of ice, massage gun, and a few whiskey IV's. It feels better this morning, but it will be a day of not doing much and no softball game for me tonight. Hope you feel better soon.

We start our first 100 day today followed through the rest of the week.
Predicting 104 Wednesday with 115 heat index factoring in the humidity...ugh!!

If you have a lot to mow around like my orchard you may not like the 3pt hitch finish.mower with that bucket on the front. but they are nice otherwise.

Nor sure what the going rate is up there...Almost seems like it'd be less to have it done.

What happened to high school kids mowing lawns for cheap?

Bucket comes right off in a minute, two pins. If needed the lift arms also are semi fast to release.

Can't find to many that want to work let alone outside where they might sweat for less than $20 an hour.
 
That kinda response is always fun. I worked on a Ram Air IV GTO for the employee of a friend of mine. Got all degrees right, the gaps set at the right .000" and took it back to him. Next day "What did you do to that thing? :eek: It's scary!" My buddy and I just grinned "That's the way it's supposed to run." I took it for a test drive before I took it back to him. It burned the tires through the first 3 gears and chirped them going into 4th :steering:
 
Went to the Stoney Brook inn yesterday for dinner. Great food for sure been a while. Great view on the deck of a small stream going over a man made waterfall. Hot in the sun though, was beat when I got home.

Im thinking i want to try and make some. Steel though. Once i get planishing hammer done, want to build some dies for it. If it fails, then i start gathering junk to build a power hammer.
