Healing up from this weeks Instructor block training. For me being “on” is the hardest part. Especially for that many days in a row. Plus watching a whole line of guys with ARs some savvy some not so much. Flagging is a huge issue for the noobs. And bending over to pick up mags, nowhere safe to stand! Hah! Actually they all did pretty good but the heat wiped em out. I think it is pretty cool that most of the guys were shooting rifles they assembled themselves. And the typical attendee that shows up with lights, lanterns, radar dish, and microwave oven bolted on to his rifle. And wearing more kit than I thought was possible! By about the third hour they are borrowing my tools and stripping rifles down to essentials! And extraneous kit is piled under picnic table! All in all I had a blast as I watched the progression of skill.
