FSM?How can there not be a preload spec for mopar roller lifters? (hydraulic)... been searching and i have seen 20-40thou, and one person saying .250 (not a typo) just wtf.. i assume it's around 20-40 but there has to actually be a spec for it not just peoples feelings..
I tried but the Flying Spaghetti Monster has no answers on this.... He's a ******* ford guy... (my FSM is for 62, not 85+..) I'm gonna go with 35ish thou.. can always readjust later if needed..FSM?

That will lube your crankshaft for sure!Dead morning in here... just ordered the stuff to do the oil change on my grand cherokee... i will say Mobile1 full synthetic (It's a pentastar) lasts WAY longer than any other synthetic i have used.. usually by now my motor sounds like a sewing machine, the mobile one held up well
Which reminds me. When they modified this Harley, they did not install a remote oil filter. Bike actually has no oil filter on it at all now. But I can add one. Don't plan on riding it a heck of a lot but would like to have a spin on filter somewhere on it.That will lube your crankshaft for sure!
Going good Chris went to bed early and slept in.How goes it fredo
Mitch, on shovels the oil filter was designed for return side. Be sure you get filter accordingly. The modern Harley’s oil filter is on pressure side so big difference in oil filter/microns. I would look close behind tranny and see if there is not one hidden there? We typically weld in a mount at bottom of down tubes and relocate them there then put a cover over them for simplicity sake.Which reminds me. Sure ya do, put the Chevelle out in the yard!Well I discovered yesterday that the transmission in the dart is slipping. Unfortunately that is not something I can fix at my house due to the lack of space.
