Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well I discovered yesterday that the transmission in the dart is slipping. Unfortunately that is not something I can fix at my house due to the lack of space.
Torqueflites are pretty forgiving. Often times a fluid and filter change and tighten up the bands to sprc are all that's needed. Oh and make sure the kickdown is adjusted properly.

Well it confirmed, trans is bad. Will be just shy of $4000

Yep and making sure the kick down is right is important for sure.
Don't ask me how I know.:BangHead:

Well I am dehydrated this morning and wobbly on my feet. Clearly I need to balance my crankshaft. Getting grandson today who just started kindergarten. He wants to hit the range and shoot some 22. Should be a fun couple of days. His parents are going dove hunting Saturday.

No idea how that happened

I always bring the BV Mike and Sprite.

It's too bad Lon isn't closer to all of us. It sounds like he has 3 times more work than he can get done in a day though.

And about a week and a half to get it back. Oh, and a wheel bearing is going on the other POS daily I have. Crazy to think the Demon may be my daily for awhile

Yea it would be nice and think we could all keep him busy.
Was worth the trip all the way to his house and sit and watch him build my tranny and learn how to.
Lon and his wife are good people.

Morning all, day 2 of Pioneer Days. Yesterday did swap meet, today wife therapy this morning then go back look at over 400 tractors, 500 gas engines, stationary steam engines, and everything else in between. Pioneer Village has all the antique buildings of a small town. I drive my 59 Fury then no charge exhibitors

Yes it’s a stock 904

What Toolman said... check fluid levels first... then think fluid and filter change. TSM will have the "in the car" adjustments you can do.

Be sure to mark everything as to where the original position is before moving or adjustment. I use a yellow paint pen

Take a lots of pictures.
