When we lived out there we would always got to Ocean Shores for the annual sand castle and chain saw sculptures event. Kids loved it

Ours goes in 2 weeks.
 
There will be an airshow here tomorrow and Sunday. The F 17s are practicing now. I'm thinking ROAD TRIP! Wouldn't be so bad but my place is just a mile and a half from the approach to the local airport

Jodi is still in Cleveland and I have to go to Little Rock and teach some Church Security Team members. Technically just renewing their creds. The legislation is written in such a way that they have to renew and continue to certify. Basically they have to shoot the exact same pistol quals as our LEOs. The kid that is going to spend weekend reminds me a lot of myself. He got sideways with his family and moved out early. He now lives with his granny and makes his own way. I moved out at 15 and never looked back, I understand. The kid is not afraid to work. He helps me on the farm doing brute manual labor type stuff. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but if you are slow and methodically demonstrate what you want done he will darn sure do it. His work ethic is amazing. He is not afraid to say whatever he is thinking and settles disagreements with his body. A bit of a hothead. For whatever reason we hit it off and Jodi has quasi adopted him. I told him if he makes a poor decision and gets into my liquor cabinet, don’t make a worse decision by adding water to the bottle trying to fool me. Hopefully it all works out.

Thats great, many are lost and need a person to take interest in them, same here, moved out when I was 15 and about to turn 16 in The month of May, met my dad, started working construction and got me a trailer to rent after 3 days of staying with my father, his new wife and my two brothers.
Does this young man have a nick name ? I remember getting my first nick name, I don't know how to spell it but its a Mexican name, Wone, I looked like a Mexican and worked like one . Give him a nick name , a good one.

I got my refrig condenser fan in. Got it installed and it's blowing like a prom queen! :thumbsup: :rofl::rofl:
 
Evening all. Have a question . Had to replace idler arm on duster. Went and got a replacement. Moog K 7086 . My question is there is no rubber on the end that goes in the center link. The NOS one had it . Just wondering about water getting in. Sure is a lot different than the NOS one.

Well I'm no help Mike never seen one without the rubber even in the idler arm.

:lol: :lol: I had nick names from my father. When I was young it was Tiger. When I got to my teens he was influenced by Archie Bunker and used both Meathead and Pollock when referring to me :rofl::rofl:

If the old one was removable ( the Rubber ) could you have reused it ?????
 
On my old Corvette, sometimes I didnt receive all the right shizzit. Often, I would cut a ring of hose the correct size to complete the job.....
 
Off to a concert tonight. I wish it was really the Eagles but better than nothing.

Another patch done. Think im pushing 10 hours. That’s working with my arms over my head. This is starting to suck.
Almost time to invest in a hot tub.

I Really wish that I had my Vietnamese masseuse here in America. That little tiny girl is amazing...... Very strong hands....... :thumbsup:

Watched a show called Amazing race and they went to Vietnam , I thought of you Mitch, when you use to send pitures back. Crazy traffic. On land and water!!
