Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would consider moving the car and asking for a reinspection. Should have no bearing on the situation.

That sucks! I’d be so pissed. I can understand your frustration.
Told me they would insure me if I cleaned up property. Not exactly this, I asked why they refused to renew three years ago and was told this. I did as asked. Then this bull crap!!

Or drop it off at a friends house for a few. I still don't see how a car creates additional exposure for the insurance company for a claim.

IMO they are just looking for reasons to not insure in CA. This is the company sending drones over back yards and canceling policy's based on what they see...

Insurance is tough today depends on where you live and all the etc…
I talked to my old regional manager for Farmers a few weeks back, all most all insurance companies right now are operating in the red in a lot of states. It’s not good considering that our premiums go into a giant pool of funds based in the stock market that allows insurance companies in the event if a default, to still guarantee payment.

What’s been quietly happening is they’ve been having to tap that pool

CA is really bad because company's can only raise rates with permission from the insurance commission...

Thinking of loading car on trailer and moving it to a parking lot near by. Then call them....
Kinda like the Army.. when the inspections would come up we'd load all the odds and ends into trucks... and tow the broken ones out into the training areas until after the inspection

Well the biggest part of problem is just how fast home prices have skyrocketed. Double or triple since 2019 in some cases. And insurance rates didn’t keep up and it’s killing them with total losses or even minor repairs
