Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am hearing rumblings of a new culinary regime at first of year. Not sure why these events trigger impact on me but they sure do. I do most of the cooking so I refuse to cook two meals for one event. Invariably I simply eat the “latest” version of healthy. On plus side like all of the other culinary restructuring it will only last a couple of months!
I made some culinary changes better choices and it's worked for me. Cheryl saw my results after a couple months and joined in and she's done well. We're both much better off and feeling good.

I’m planning on starting our own new one Friday. Healthier foods are stupid expensive but we gonna give it a go. Plus I’m working on our greenhouse so hopefully we’ll have fresh veggies soon

We eat more veggies especially peppers and mushrooms and fresh fruit. We basically cut out bread, chips, potatoes, pop, deserts, fried foods, and things like. We drink 80oz of water a day coffee or tea counts towards that total. We are active workout at home and walk a lot. Our weight loss was a couple pounds a week some weeks nothing the body balances out in weird ways. After several months we hit our set weight a body weight everyone naturally has based on body build, etc... Now we weight flux in a five-pound window which seems to work for us.

So basically keto?

My only argument is that I am wearing the same britches I did twenty plus years ago! Admittedly my chest and shoulders look like a rock slide! A bit of gravitation effect if you will. But seriously, cut out biscuits and gravy on the weekends? That is so not happening. I already eat mostly veggies with no chips or soda. Bread is my downfall, I love bread! Well and taters. Well, and whole wheat pasta, and biscuits obviously. But I mean other than that I don’t eat a lot of carbs.

I will be joining the ranks of eating better in the new year. I need to start and get on track.

Good morning everyone. Off this week. So, what can, should or will I do today.

Long video but also really cool. The 1968 and 1969 US Nationals. Take a look at the crowd and notice the lack of large individuals. What did people eat in 1969? Pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, beef and bread. Think about it, back then nothing came from a box. It was local, it was fresh and it was healthy. Mom or Grandma used bacon grease or lard to cook. Go back to the old ways

My wife does Cuzz, as you see in the picture below my son Mikie put that smile on her face, Arkansas lottery is above 600 million, may have to get in on that before Wensdays drawing. If I win, I will treat everyone to a good dinner .

This would be all of us at a fancy restaurant...

Morning!
Temp will be just above freezing, and like this through the new year.
Today, service a friend’s van and pull Nissan off trailer then bring it in shop and check it over.

Hey maybe just consider portion size?? Just set a reasonable goal and work towards it a pound or two a week is the way to go.

I decided I’m working on sanding and refinishing the bathtub this week. I figured it’s already messed up so I will give it a shot If I take my time hopefully I can make it better.

I think for most people, the problem is what is in the food. Some call it processed food but I don't really know the defination - buts its the junk added to 'enhance' flavor, durability, ease of manufacture, or bulk it up. Look at the ingrediants of commerical salad dressing for example versus a vinegerrete you make yourself. Same with bread, tomato sauce and dang near anything 'convenient'. Yea I'll buy a Pillspury pie crust once in while but to make it live as rolled up dough its got things in it beyond flour, fat, salt and water. I don't think this is the only issue for healthy eating but a big one.
