Stop in for a cup of coffee

After a full day with a chain saw and tractor clearing deadfall’s I am whipped. It is tuff working logs but yourself, hop off tractor chain up log get back on tractor drag clear, hop off tractor re rig hop back on rinse and repeat all day. I am physically wiped out. So is taking a toddy into the shower with you being efficient? Or is taking a toddy into the shower a sure sign you got bigger problems? Picture is what we Arkies call a lazy boy recliner! Other pic is a nice walnut that got blown down during last storm. I see some custom grips in my future!

As long as you don’t go out and make a second drink mid-shower, your fine.

OK brain- trust... this has been banged around before... but I didn't get closure from the threads.

These from Summit are not correct for passenger side timing marks

Summit Racing 1964-2003 Mopar Small Block LA OE-Style Harmonic Dampers SUM-163273

Summit Racing™ OE-Style Harmonic Dampers SUM-163273

65 parts manual shows water pump discharge is on the driver side for both the 273 and 318 and they use the same timing chain cover. Why would it be a different damper for the 318 auto?

Didn't get a final solution out of this thread

Or is timing tape a better option?

Any sources you know of? I've been trolling the interwebs but nothing with a high level of confidence

Anyone familiar with this one? 1947235 is shown as 273 or 318 standard transmission

Remanufactured harmonic balancer for 1964-66 Plymouth Barracuda - Valiant and Dodge Dart with 273 engine

Or is timing tape a better option?

Thanks

I've never had timing tape stick. The old stuff was better, but the stuff nowadays slings off almost with the starter. Search "Hillbilly Timing Tape" by crackedback and do that instead.

Here you go.

Sleep ok Rob?
Naw. Gonna just stay up now. I've been working all night on my spare room and the shop. Thinnin stuff out I'll never use. Got the bed of the truck full of stuff goin to the dump today.

I was thinking somehting like that might be a way to do it.
Do you tap all around to drive the new one in, or put something across so th drive from the center?
If the ground off bearing is exposed i use a hammer and go to town. One hit then across with another. Back and forth and criss-cross. Similar to driving them out. Then i clean the bore again.

Morning!
Its above freezing. Go figure, end of Januarary and its warm. Even up north. Today is build a defroster duct. Maybe round up some heavier sheet metal to start building the cowl cover panel. As i sit here pondering, its coming together. Want to make panel removeable.
