I like the good old day's when it was you look up and if it was cloudy you might get rain and if it was cold and cloudy you might get snow.
If you get out of bed and a nice sunny start to the day and you can have your coffee on the deck then it was BBQ time for dinner.

Out in the desert, I could smell it on the wind. That creosote has a very distinct odor when it gets wet.

Same here and not the creosote but you can smell a storm coming. Think that's how animals know.

Morning people short night couldn't sleep oh well maybe better luck tonight.
Mid 60's here yet again for today.
The furnace has been OFF for the past two days whoo hoo!!

Good morning :D
I haven't heard any, but they say it is a possibility with this weather system.
Almost 1" rain since 20:00 PST Wednesday.
 
Slept better last night finally, it helps a bunch, but I could use more. Lost the left rear brake caliper on my truck on the way home. Brake light came on. Got home with brakes, but the caliper was leaking fluid. So, I have parts now and will fix it tonight after work. Love working outside on a gravel driveway, in the dark, in winter/wet.
 
I don't remember if 1" of rain is enough to close my old path to the rock farm or not. There are probably numerous catch basins in town with a substantial amount of standing water this morning. That will put a couple soccer fields out of service this weekend :rolleyes:
