Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning Mike, yes the back problems suck the wife has them and she is down when they flair up.

I was thinking about the show there this weekend and was wishing I could be there, I hope the weather cleared up, and the show was a big hit like I got to enjoy last year.

Here's 2 trophies I hauled home. It was a great weekend!

I took good care of it and saved me a few bucks by staying home while everyone enjoyed the big show, Buddy (my Boxer knows when I don't feel good and sticks to me like glue, never leaving my side, well he did when he had to do his thing out on the property line..

There was 5 of us friends that brought cars to Farmington. We ended up with 5 plaques and 3 were 1st. place awards in their class. A good weekend. To top it off, I checked mileage on my swinger and got 18.8 going and 22.9 coming home. Now the 22.9 is a little inflated. There was a good tail wind, I only drove 60 or so, and when I filled up at the end I didn't fill it clear to the top. I did that when I filled up to come home and it splashed on the paint. LOL 20's for mileage is good.

Good morning, Mondays are good for me because the restaurant is closed. Rain is expected off and on. Just had a rain shower, some fluffy brownish cardinals took shelter in the shrubs outside my window, I think they are same ones from the pics I took before. They are hopping back and forth right now.

I tell you what, I'm leaning to changing my investment stragtegy to include only dividend paying stocks

Hello folks!
I'm sorry to hear about your back problems, memike. Does anti-inflammatory pain killers with ibuprofen (like Advil) help?

Congratulations on your trophy, Toolman! Well deserved, no doubt.

I'll go take a pic of my pistons, Ray.
And hi, Chris! You're getting as much response on your investment posts as I'm getting on my running posts.

I've heard of barn finds, but trunk finds??

I was inside the trunk of the GTS tonight trying to clean up some details and decided to check the tightness of the rear deck 6x9 speakers and make sure they weren't rattling. I dropped my wrench down behind the back of the rear seat while I was doing it :BangHead: so I grabbed my flashlight to look for it. I found it, but I also found this jammed down in there...

It's the right vintage to be the original license plate put on the car back in late '68 when the car was first registered in Baton Rouge LA. IDK if it is, or how (or when) it got there, but it's hanging on the garage wall now!

That's a cool find Dave. I've kept all my old plates for the last twenty tears or so. Pretty good wall art..

Weather was great so i went out for a bike ride for about an hour. I sure do get a lot of looks and thumbs-ups from folks when i ride that girl..
