Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hard to tell from the pic. Do you have an adjusted properly yet?
I'm struggling with the shape of the Edelbrock versus the Holley and the angle from the back of the block to the attachment point. The Holley is easy but it won't fit on the cast iron intake

I think it would have originally been a Carter 4120s?

Maybe so. I had a Holly 750 R4779 on the 383 in my 68 GTS Dart. That car was also an automatic and I had to modify a lot of the linkage in order to make it work. It just takes a little bit of sense of engineering to work it all out. I'm sure you can do it.

Could have solved that linkage problem real easy.... just swap in a 4 speed

So, I do follow a few travel vlogs on the internet from veterans of the Vietnam war. Some of them have been back to my city of Vinh Long. Almost to a man they always talk about how the old water towers are still visible here in the city. Much has been built up around all of that but those water towers remain. I think they were built at least 60 years ago. Maybe more. Also there is clear evidence of the Army Air Base and runway not too far away. They have paved the road now and lengthened it on each end to connections. But it is obvious that this was once a runway.

Are you in vn now?

Seems like you're back and forth, in and out..

Seems like you have a good internet connection there.
Rani, you would not believe how prevalent the internet and Wi-Fi is here in Vietnam. Anywhere you go, and I mean anywhere. Any cafe Any restaurant Any hotel. They have free Wi-Fi. You just need to key in the password then your phone remembers it for the next time you are at that location. It's amazing how much better the quality is for the Wi-Fi here than in the United States...

I catch a few on my own but most of the time they respond to someone's wanted ad. If they report the suspicious activity I can end the crap with a couple key strokes.
Spammers, scammers, and assholes. You guys are probably busy.

I used to hit the report button when I would see emails, phone numbers or anything off that I figured you guys had not seen. Then one day I just stopped because I wasn't sure if it even helped anyone.

It does help. We can't see them all and we are spread pretty thin. Please hit the report button if you see something fishy. I grumble when someone reports the same thread 3 times in 20 min. But it's better than if they didn't.

Morning here but it came too early yet again...oh well that's why we have coffee right??

I posted yesterday about my Tach being a mag version. There was a post on my build thread recommending a gauge specialist/ restorer who may be able to convert it. Ron Williamson called me back last night and said it was no problem to update the old tach to work with the new ignition. He said the work he does has a lifetime warranty and the gauge will be refreshed on the exterior as well and look like new. I will use the new gauge I ordered and then send the old one to Ron.

Anyone interested in any gauge work here is his information.

Morning!
Early start this morning, 7 solid hours of shuteye. Feeling rested for the most part.
Weather? It sucks, -1f is too cold for this time of year. I need warm days to do what i need done.
