Stop in for a cup of coffee

Terrific Tuesday is todays theme!
How far up are your hops now? just wondering whats 'normal'. The one that did good from last year is 4-5ft up the line now. some of the new ones are around 2 ft. They are growing quick now. seems like once they get hold of the string they grow faster.

I have a bunch up to the top wire so 14 feet or so. They are having a weird growing year for me. 4-5 is great since they just went in a few weeks ago. You beer peeing on them its like miracale grow! LMAO

Worked yesterday on organizing stuff for sale to go to Carlisle. I hate waiting until the last minute.

The dash frame just has the two side bolts and it is out. Really easy never did one before. Settled on 150 for it picked up and I am sure he will take some other stuff. I am amazed the front window chanel is pretty good just a small amount of surface rust in the lower corners. I see a sawzall in my future.

the 4-5 is last years. But, those 2 got whacked by that hailstorm. newbies might be 2 ft at most. a few haven't even got on the string yet.

The ring and pinion set up beautifully

Looks great! Add the stuff to the 8 1/4 thread for others. One day I will condense the info when and if I have time. Actually a lot of good info there I wish I had known about a few years ago!

I would add two bottles of slip addidtive in there since the carrier is nos!

It will help with the break in especially in a turn they have a tendency to stay locked until you get on them for a bit.

I think I got the timing in the pop done, around 7 initial and looks like 34 at 3k. Still have a bit of a bog, starting to think one of the floats are off/leaking. shut the pump off for a bit and it gets better.

Could be the advance curve. Mine has around 15 initial, with 38 total.

If it's any consolation, that property might not have been all you dreamed of. There's so much to factor in. The side of the mountain it's on makes a big difference...north or northwest it's going to be dark and gloomy. That stream, if you want to build a bridge over it, the government requires all sorts of specs and it can cost a lot. You have to wonder what the whole story is.
very true.

that does seem a little low on initial timing - what psi are you running the pump at?

g'morning.. sorta. We had a line of thunderstorms roll through here at 2:45 this morning.. a couple of cracks were pretty close too, so needless to say, M3 no sleepy so good last night...
Same here. And tomorrow we're in the extreme risk category for tornadoes. Good thing I've got the Ram ready to go.....
