Hello everyone. Actually got the boot replaced in about an hour and a half. Cleaned it out properly, too. Good thing about not having a sense of smell it I can clean things in gasoline without being bothered.

Outdoors, of course.

lookin good
Thanks. Well, it should be in the car but putting it back is SUCH a pita that I really don't want to do it at all. Besides, I'm one bolt short.

But I'm on my way down to do it now.

My wife and I took our older daughter to the dentist to adjust her braces after lunch and took the opportunity to look at some rugs for our living room. Then I took a nap. Yesterday was more exhausting than I thought, apparently.

This sounds too familiar,Karl... Hopefully,the kid's v8swap,is working out well....

Both boys are in Detroit right now...

Now that I have time to work as we are done with Eddie's Dart...

So I'm in neutral mode waiting for someone to come back and work on the cars with them....

But there is supposed to be an out of town visitors coming in today....

Hemi orange arms, Chrysler blue supports, need two more cans of that hard to find here. Figure time to wash it and clean it up and make it purdy!

Car quest - plasti-kote:

232 = Chrysler small block blue
226 = Chrysler Hemi orange

If they don't have it in stock, they can order it...

I am using Edlebrock heads and have heard that there are specific bolts that go into certain locations on the heads to hold down the rocker shafts - I called my engine guy and he VERY much down played the importance of all this.... what gives?
