Did he use any of those side shims? Prob dropped right in.
one shim on each side was used and he put the other two shims in his shim box with about 15 shims for other rearends:(
I hope I/we can find the two we did not use in that box, full off 8.8 and chevy chims

I am thinking carb, just seems like it. Still have to adjust the secondary linkage, forgot to do the top of the secondary cover also, just remembered it last night. If the floats are ok might go one size jet/rod in the primary side smaller. Secondary's seem pretty good after the bog. Could also be the accelerator pump nozzles are to big, they are easy to change and have all the sizes also. I will get it figured out soon I hope when I get a few hours, doing 8 things at once lately here.

Other than that seems pretty good mechanically!

If not no biggie along with the pinion shims have plenty and one more pair of side shims. Don't plan on putting another one together anytime soon.

Ron stopped by yesterday and looked at the lift arms and the supports and said "it will look like a gulf station in here" LMAO!

Oh I will indeed look for them and see if I can get him to show me what we did not use I will be over there at 5 today and see what we can find bud

Good morning Gents (and gals if Rani is here)

You realize you put together a kind of rare rear there track loc 2.45 right!

Hemi orange arms, Chrysler blue supports, need two more cans of that hard to find here. Figure time to wash it and clean it up and make it purdy!

I will get some after the posts are done. Still trying to get seals for the ram, seems to be *** pain without a seal place near me.

That sounds fun. No boring red or plain blue for you.

Ahhhhh no ! I was thinking it is a police interceptor/chase car gears, something I am missing Hops ? do tell wise one !

The arms were yellow and beat up this was the time to do it when it was down. The Chrysler blue is just a shade lighter than what is on there now. It will llook like a "GULF STATION LIFT!" Make it look better than everything else in the shop! Maybe people will walk in there and will not be able to take their eyes off it and not look at the rest of the mess! See I have a plan!

That would fit right in in my town. The local state college colors are purple and gold.

well, it is good to see you again - how's it going out there? obviously you took the job - are you actually IN Boston or in a nearby burb? I like the idea with a "sweaty" looking car that is essentially done but just needs some personalizing.. why a big block though? you can get into plenty of trouble with a nice small block and they're a damn sight easier to work on..
The original plan was to put a 440 in my duster, so this second time around, I'd actually like to be able to say, it's got one. But yeah, 360s are a little more common to find, who knows where I'll end up.

I'm out in East Cambridge, bordering Somerville. Job is going good, really like it out here, been doing lots of bike riding!

They are pretty high gears, should have great top end on it. Mikey likey! Mike what did you have in the car with the slant?

ah - I see. So you're still a good clip from here (just north of Springfield) - maybe someday there will be a car show or some such and we can meet up..
