Stop in for a cup of coffee

DAMN! CO dirt is expensive! 1k per acre is common out this way, it aint pretty, but it's damn cheap..
Try this part of PA. Land goes for $80-150k+ per acre. There is a 2.7 acre lot for sale a mile from my house listed at $595k.

One of the last farm hold-outs near here finally sold his 20 acre farm a few years ago for just over $3 mil. There are now 42 $500k homes sitting on the land. The builder made over $10 mil developing the property and the realtor made $1.2 mil selling the homes.

Found 10.54 acres in TN at the top of a mountain for sale. Has a stream and a gravel road but no houses nearby.

If it's any consolation, that property might not have been all you dreamed of. There's so much to factor in. The side of the mountain it's on makes a big difference...north or northwest it's going to be dark and gloomy. That stream, if you want to build a bridge over it, the government requires all sorts of specs and it can cost a lot. You have to wonder what the whole story is.

I guess I'm real happy with my spread then!

well, it good to see you made it back - and survived the move. How's Boston/the new job? A new Duster? ...from the sounds of it, you're going to want something that's essentially done this time - at least a driver.. any options out there for garaging?
Ironically enough, I'm a huge fan of ratty muscle cars and rust, so i'd be looking for a BB Duster that looks like this

I just like the character to it. Y'know, just not rusted through the floors or frame and it will be good for me... So in short, if I got anything, I'd want it mostly finished, maybe add racing seats/cage, some cosmetic things like wheels. But definitely not looking for a resto (or restomod)

Haven't looked into it, when the time comes, I'm sure I can find something that works.

We bought our house for $125k 20 years ago on a third acre. We bought a house last year for our son for $100k that has a 300" deep lot. I feel good. I know land in popular places costs a bundle. Live and work in Cali. then cash in and move to the midwest. lol

Dammit! Now I want a '69 Superbee!

Me too (again) Had a 69 Bee and 2 69 Coronets. Out of those 3,
My 69 coronet 1a.jpg
I only have a few photos of one of the Coronets. But you already knew that! lol

Just found one, really nice for $36k.

1969 Dodge Super Bee

Dammit, I need to sell my other house first! :BangHead:
Beauty! Mine was Y3 (cream) with a medium brown vinyl top, tan interior, 383/4 speed/8 3/4. I found out that it was a rare color especially with that combination. It's still around town, stuffed in a garage.

I would love a car that sweet but it would have to be a coronet 500 or an R/T and it would have to be a 68

I love that Y2 sunfire yellow

I'm up.... Again....

A little hungry, but trying to resist...

Burrito place open for another hour.... Mmmmm, burritos......

All caught up!

Good morning, everyone!

We got home last night at 10 pm, ears ringing from a very loud day of gaming and eating junk food. Fun! The boys had a good time and I was fascinated. Played a little with my son, too, which is always a lot of fun.

I just ate my left over pizza.......I wish I would have been Mr. Karl's neighbor right about now ...I would have been his partner in crime on the nachos :p

isn't so weird to run into an old ad for a car you bought.

On facebook I found an expired ad for a car that I bought. I saved the pics just to be weird but I when I first saw the ad I thought "hey, that's my car" but it was an ad placed months before I bought it.

Kinda weird to see it then because I have already screwed with it and changed it a whole bunch since I have had it.

g'morning.. sorta. We had a line of thunderstorms roll through here at 2:45 this morning.. a couple of cracks were pretty close too, so needless to say, M3 no sleepy so good last night...

I could easily be convinced to blow off work and spend the day in the garage wrenchin'... maybe get the lawn mowed... hummm....

well, it is good to see you again - how's it going out there? obviously you took the job - are you actually IN Boston or in a nearby burb? I like the idea with a "sweaty" looking car that is essentially done but just needs some personalizing.. why a big block though? you can get into plenty of trouble with a nice small block and they're a damn sight easier to work on..
