We core and freeze all our tomatoes until we have time to deal with them. Once frozen through, you can put them in warm/hot water for a few seconds and the skins pop right off. Then we put them in a big stock pot and slowly let them thaw. You can pour the water off as they thaw. Huge time saver. Last year we finally got the tomatoes done in late January.I have a bunch of frozen tomato's I need to do something with. Tried to make some tomato sauce out of some but nope not thick enough.
About the same here. I have work, more than i want but less than i can afford. For me it's jobless and independently poor. But retired and happy.
You have to make sauce and cook it down. After being frozen they get mushy and are no good as salsa or Pico.I have a bunch of frozen tomato's I need to do something with. Tried to make some tomato sauce out of some but nope not thick enough.
