Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would do it for those terms. I took a job with a 70 mile commute when my daughter was 4 months old and did it for a year. I averaged 90 mins each way. The pay was worth it and I just adjusted my schedule to start an hour earlier so I would get home at a reasonable hour.

I was going to buy a house closer to the job but I wound up getting an even better offer in Memphis so we moved there instead.

The only word of caution is "weather". I once got caught in a snowstorm and it took 7 hours to get home. All the hotels on the rural highway route filled up fast so I had no choice but to just keep plodding my way through it. After that I just kept the gear in my truck that would let me sleep in it if needed and all was good. I had a F-150 with a cap on the back so I could crawl in there and sleep comfortably.
I do the same even for 7 miles. My wrangler is a 4 door amd the rear seats fold down.

I think it's time -

Mike if your car was a four door where would that loop for the cage end up? Looking for something right in the pillar! Need ejection seat tracks for the pass side and no where to mount them that are stealth! You know when the radio breaks on a long trip and the drone is the best music around without interruptions!

humm.. when you buy a roll kit, you can put the pieces where you want

M3, your car reminds me of this one owned by one of the other customers of my Speed Shop guy...

I thought they were pretty much made to fit. Thanks. Not like that will happen anytime soon.

this one was already in the car but I did a "cage" in my previous car and all the tubes were easily 6-8" too long, everything had to be cut to fit

Note to oneself. "Don't ride with Hoppy!"

Hey Ray, I know you were talking about a fire suppression system and I was thinking that since your fire was electrical, you might want to consider an e-stop battery disconnect/electrical kill switch too.
