It's almost 100 years old and needs work! I feel 100 years old and can't do the work it needs. LOLThat is a beautiful Place you have there Mike! Every time I see it, I marvel over the Architecture !
Lots of work but well worth it in the long run. Love those Roma's. They are usually a bit cheaper, a solid little tomato with few seeds. I have had issues with diverticulosis so the fewer the seeds the better. I even use Roma's on BLT's. Great for salsa. I haven't had a pot of chili with fresh canned tomatoes for years......just like mom used to make!short break from canning, i picked another 2 boxes, some 50 lbs this morning of roma's and a few dozen beefsteaks and bradywines, the other 4 boxes yielded 23 quarts but those were almost 90% roma, which have less juice, this 2 boxes from today is almost 40% roma and 60% beefsteak/brandywines, the big juicers. should be fun
I'm catching on to thatThere's a few of us into whom you really don't want too much insight.

Nothing heavy here yet. It's just been a nice steady gentle rain for the past 3 hours. Almost nothing is running off, it's all just soaking into the ground.Just had another serious storm cell pass thru. Lots of rain. No lightning though.
