All of us FABO people are united under the first church or Chrysler.
So you're sayin' you're Monte Carlo intolerant?

My friend Naishadh Bhatt decided to make a movie - This movie - Why a 40-something engineer bureaucrat decided to mortgage everything to make an independent feature film, I don't know, but gotta love a movie where a guy throws a sledgehammer and hits the bad guy in the face. That's Nash with the hairdo. So before he made the movie he gave me the script and asked me to punch it up and Americanize it and I got a script editor credit out of that. Nash had been in a film workshop in Harrisburg run by Carmen Finestra who produced Soul Man, Home Improvement and some other stuff. But when Nash showed Finestra the script he became incensed, chewed Nash out for making a movie that portrayed Italians as gangsters, and to this day he won't speak to Nash. But there are no Italians in the movie. It takes place in New Mexico on the border. The gangsters are Santiago, Lazario and Bedrin, two Hispanics and one Jewish. And Finestra's big buddies with Francis Coppola, whose films are - what. At the premier I was having drinks with Nash and the Mexican lead, Omar Alcaraz, and Omar says to me "You wrote my lines!" I sez "No, I translated them." So, we all just are what we are.

.

a monte Carlo is a GM .....who has one of those?? ...they are from a different parrish. However they are still American and I would rather drive a GM product over a Jap pile of crap

Also, I don't remember talking about the tank sending unit seal ring. Did Hops or Karl put it in there?

And thanks for the clips, Mitch!

No, I threw in the lock ring and f-connector for the windshield washer hoses. They usually get brittle and break. That's the correct one that bolts to the cowl. That lock ring is one of the OEM ones that I got from Ray...

What is this white plastic thing with the lock ring?

Hey! The Box arrived!!! Unboxing in my build thread.

Karl, let me tell you, I was so surprised to find what looks lika a complete engine gasket set. Plus a 727 (?) transmission pan gasket. Thank you!

And guess what? I didn't have to pay any customs or taxes! So much win!

One of the rear end shims was on back order, though. I suppose it'll show up eventually, Karl. I guess we'll deal with that when it gets to you.

I'm a little confused by the brake booster, though. It looks bigger than I expected. And the M/C is clearly not the same as the one I already had. Any clues?

I do have to say I'm so proud of my 2.5 yr old. She did very good and as a reward, I took her to the toy tent in the swap meet area and told her to pick one out. She immediately picked up a blue toy cuda and screamed CUDA!.

A GM A-Body is what it is. My involvement with Mopar A-Bodies at present is largely confined to being chief asst. engine room lackey #1 at Halifax Hops, but after I drove the 72 Monte to Lift Day in the condition pictured I was invited to be honorary GM infidel on this site.
